Side view is totally okay. I think Cirque is really good at making sure that most seats are good seats. You’ll just probably notice different things depending on where you sit though.
Thanks!

Illinois native Madeline Stammen, 24, began her competitive career at the age of 8. She excelled at ice dancing and freestyle skating at a highly competitive level until she was 18 years old.
After competition, Stammen was hired for her first professional show on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines performing in shows on the ship’s ice rinks.
In 2016, while taking a six-month sabbatical from skating, Stammen auditioned for Cirque du Soleil: "Crystal" and landed the role of The Reflection, the alter ego of the titular character Crystal. She has since been alternating roles of The Reflection as well as main character Crystal. You can see her perform on Sept. 20-23 when the show comes to the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

And now they are going to Russian tour later this year. The site above is currently listing Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kazan.
Zabato Bebe, who grew up in Vienna [Austria], opted for figure skating.
“I always loved to climb trees, run around and ice skating,” Bebe said. “I tried everything and my mom let me do whatever I wanted. Skating was a natural thing to do. It combined sport and art. My mom’s a teacher, an art history teacher, and my dad teaches African dance, and figure skating blends sports form and art from on ice. It felt natural.”
Bebe now is taking figure skating to another level as part of Cirque du Soleil Crystal, which comes to Stockton Arena from Wednesday through April 7. The show is Cirque du Soleil’s first experience on ice and features synchronized, freestyle and extreme skating alongside circus disciplines such as swinging trapeze, aerial straps and hand-to hand.
“Cirque du Soleil is a natural progression,” Bebe said.
He started skating at 6, competed in Vienna and gave up competitive skating at 18 to pursue professional performing. He never landed with the big tours, though.
“I was more interested in me shows, projects nobody else does, a once-in-a-lifetime experience” Bebe said. “Little things popped up here and there that don’t exist anymore. They were groundbreaking at the time.
“Cirque du Soleil is trying to do something different, outside the box.”
Japan's Miyu Nakashio, age 22, made an announcement on her IG today: https://www.instagram.com/p/BxO_IFgHc38/Figure skaters Silja Dos Reis and Lisa Mochizuki from Cirque du Soleil’s new production “CRYSTAL" visited the Jefferson Health Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia, Tuesday [May 7], for a preview of the show they will be performing this summer in Philadelphia.
Erika Choi Smith announced on Facebook that she & AJ Reiss are moving to Montreal to join Cirque du Soleil.
Any highlights/impressions you'd like to share, @kwanfan1818?Oh, just saw Crystal this past weekend, and Cirque is right in their [Manta/Johnson's] wheelhouse.
It's a unique show to the US audience. I haven't seen anything like it. It's skating, acrobatics and great choreography combined in one. If you're interested just in skating, you might be disappointed b/c the jumps are not as difficult as SOI. But it is not as cheesy as SOI. It's pretty amazing. I would recommend it.Can anyone who has seen the show say whether it's worth the money? Is there's any real skating? The reason I am asking is that the current du Soleil show, Avatar, is more about videoprojecting than circus
Nakashio, too.Japan's Miyu Nakashio, age 22, made an announcement on her IG today: https://www.instagram.com/p/BxO_IFgHc38/
“I am working on a project with Cirque du Soleil.”
(same wording as Karina Manta/Joe Johnson's joint announcement recently)
The latter. I came across this local Texas press release (CRYSTAL is in Frisco, TX through Sunday) with details about Cain/LeDuc's visit in April: https://planomagazine.com/plano-events/events/cirque-du-soleil-crystal/I'm wondering whether the above means Ash and Tim appeared with the Cirque cast or will be making an appearance with the cast of Cirque at Comerica? Or, did they simply spend a day with the Cirque cast learning what they do and how they put on these shows?
Next up is Philadelphia (June 20-23 at the Wells Fargo Center) and here are some local articles:Cain and LeDuc visited the CRYSTAL team while they were in Omaha, Nebraska performing at the CHI Health Center Omaha Convention Center and Arena in April. The duo spent the day with the CRYSTAL cast learning what it takes to be a part of Cirque du Soleil. From costumes to makeup to warming up on the ice, Cain and LeDuc experienced a full day of a Cirque du Soleil performer’s routine. In addition, the figure skaters shared skills that they have learned through competition with the Cirque du Soleil team.
If anyone is interested in seeing Crystal when it hits Philadelphia June 20-23, you can snag a discounted ticket here (and support a local skating club):

It is a great show. Regarding the cost, I found tickets MUCH cheaper at services like stubhub and goodseats, etc. The ticket I bought from Goodseats for $64 would have cost $103 if I had bought it directly from the Wells Fargo box office. Can anyone who has seen the show say whether it's worth the money? Some 3,480 employees that were furloughed in March due to the coronavirus pandemic — at which time the entertainment company cancelled its 44 shows and saw its revenue stream halted — have been laid off, although Lamarre hopes to rehire the vast majority. Two funds totalling US$20 million have been established to provide additional relief to impacted employees and independent contractors.
