Many thanks to @marysy for sharing the info that Patrick was on episode 103 of The Pal's Podcast, hosted by George Boutsalis and Ricky Liorti (March 8, 2021) - 2 links to listen:

Patrick did the skating for Ken Wu on the Mighty Ducks Game Changers! The character was supposed to have been an Olympic figure skater before switching to hockey, so that seems appropriate!

I watched this thinking, wow they must’ve gotten a really decent skater to be able to do twizzles, footwork, a single axel, and a butterfly in hockey skates! And lo and behold, it was Patrick! Makes sense since this was shot in Vancouver.

If you were a 90s kid like me and loved the movies, seeing these posts was literally like having your worlds collide :)

I find Patrick's hair extensions and mustache regrettable and distressing. He is a very handsome and masculine man,but this hockey hoodlum look does absolutely nothing for him.

I shall withhold my panties at this time until he properly shaves.

Between this and Tessa Virtue's Wonder Woman shampoo,I have concerns as to what is occurring in Canada nowadays. Has extended quarantine led to this questionable taste?

I know we all have skaters that have stolen our hearts for one reason or another and experience every rise and fall of the rollercoaster ride with them and, for me, it is Patrick. I am always so happy to see him smiling. So - long hair or short - moustache or clean shaven, Patrick - just keep smiling!

Canadians revel in their bad taste. Tonight I’m eating frozen pizza, drinking wine from a box and watching Trailer Park Boys while scratching my balls and belching. Wanna come over?

Depends on how big that wine box is - 1 liter for two just won't do - and what kind of wine is in the box. Sweet wine won't do, but I'm in for a dry red.

If it's a to, I'll scratch my balls and belch alongside you. :p

Eyes Open: An Anti-Asian Racism PSA video shared by Patrick Chan via IGTV [May 2021]: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CPWHLBHB_Ap/
The 2.5 minute video also is on the Chinese Canadian National Council for Social Justice's YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGQtaCyp8f8

"As Asian Heritage Month ends, I [Donnovan Bennett] caught up with Patrick Chan to discuss his racial identity, his journey in skating and how he’s helping to pave the way so that those that follow have a more welcoming path."

Wow - big news! Patrick to become a father in September. I think we, the fans, play a major role in this as well. We need to be part of the solution and always aware of the danger of our words and actions contributing to mental health issues in our athletes. Patrick was berated for marks he did not give himself and receiving credit for his amazing skating skills. In fact, instead of being known and recognized for what he brought to the sport, his name was often used very offensively as "Chanflation". KMT chose to end a skating partnership with a well liked skater. Her name and reputation was immediately downgraded. I remember the first national championship where she skated with Mike against Dylan and Lubov and the fan support was so very one sided. We are fortunate the love of the sport kept them going and it does for many athletes but at what personal cost?

Michael M. & Trennt conversed with Patrick on September 9, 2021:
This week we are honoured to be joined by a Canadian figure skating legend, Patrick Chan. Patrick’s combination of artistic ability, skating skills, and technical prowess had a huge impact on our sport’s trajectory. We spoke about his journey as a young skater through to his Olympic experiences as well as his coaches and how they affected his life on and off the ice. You might hear some exciting news [starting at ~50 mins. :)] in this episode as well!

I wish Patrick would write a frank and detailed autobiography. I would personally find his story fascinating eg. growing up in a Chinese/Canadian family, speaking French as well on a daily basis, trying out an array of sports and choosing skating, his relationship with Mr. Colson. I would love to know from his perspective how the various coaches and methods he learned from (including the dance teacher) helped him. How did the whole "Chanflation" affect him? His last few years in the sport and how he was feeling contrasted with now that he is settled, married, and a father would be fascinating reading. I know it is old news but I would love to understand more of his journey.

Patrick was recently on the podcast Your Intention Matters in which he gave an overview of his skating career and his perspective on it now. It was interesting to hear him talk about his mindset at various points of his career, particularly heading into the 2018 Olympics. It sounds like he has made a successful transition into commercial real estate with CBRE in Vancouver.

I've always got a soft spot for Patrick Chan, because of the sheer talent of the edge. Every skater wanted to have his skills.

This was interesting, thanks for posting the link. What was really interesting is his regret from taking the year off after 2014, more than a year as he skipped 2014 and 2015 worlds. He said he was always a step behind from that point.

A very belated thanks @cheremary for sharing the link to Patrick's podcast episode - it was a very worthy listen! :) It was interesting to hear how Patrick was so burned out in the months before 2018 Nationals that he almost didn't compete.

This February 2022 article by Steve Ewen mentions Patrick is "a skating coach with various minor hockey programs" (filling the void Victor Kraatz [who] "had been working with various minor hockey programs in the Lower Mainland for years before moving to Finland to work for the Jokerit Club in September, 2019"):
Excerpts:
“I love competition. I’ll never grow out of that,” said Chan, 31, who retired in 2018 from international skating after a highly decorated career and now lives in Vancouver with wife Elizabeth Putnam and their son Oliver, who was born in September. “I enjoy watching people at their best. [...]
He had expected to still be performing in professional figure skating shows after retiring, but the COVID-19 pandemic cut out both travelling and gatherings. He mentioned upon his retirement from competitive figure skating in April 2018 an interest in commercial real estate and the COVID-19 shutdown gave him a chance to take courses.
He signed on with CBRE Vancouver’s International Markets team, a commercial real estate firm, last October. He was keen on the challenge the commercial real estate brought.
“It’s a wild world I’m trying to weasel my way into,” he said. “It’s going to be a long road but I’m going to stay committed.
“As an athlete at any level, you have certain expectations of yourself. You can be really hard on yourself. This is a big adjustment. This is about planting seeds. This is about networking and making connections. It’s going to take some time.” [...]
“Becoming a father has been a humbling experience and one that I’m so grateful for. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing your own child smile for the first time and I can’t wait to see what’s next,” Chan said.

Patrick's latest photo with his son is dated April 5, 2023 :): https://www.instagram.com/p/CqqwMD7uQel/

Akiko Tamura's part 1 of her 2-part article begins "Figure skater Patrick Chan retired from competition in 2018. He has many fans in Japan, and he talked about his current life, balancing real estate business and ice show appearances, and his thoughts on Daisuke Takahashi, who announced his retirement the other day."
Machine translated excerpt from the beginning of part 1:
On May 5th [2023], "Stars on Ice" Canada was held at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The men's division features four-time world champion Kurt Browning, 1994 and 1998 Olympic silver medalist Elvis Stojko, and 2014 Sochi Olympic silver medalist Patrick Chan. I aligned my face. Other cast members include Canadians such as Keegan Messing and Gilles & Poirier, Satoko Miyahara from Japan, Jason Brown from the United States, and Loena Hendrickx from Belgium. It was a great show with group numbers choreographed by Jeffrey Buttle. Patrick Chan, who participated in the show for the first time in four years, responded to an exclusive interview.

Patrick is the 2023 Skate Canada International event ambassador this week in Vancouver - he made a brief appearance at the end of the latest episode of CBC Sports' "That Figure Skating Show" (3 mins.): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoCO_Bx26P0
Nice to know how early he started training and getting back in skating shape for SOI Canada. I do hope he gets invited again, seeing him skate in person is a treat.

"Join us on Instagram Live Monday, Oct. 30 at 7:30pm [Eastern time] as we catch up with figure skater and 3-time Olympic medalist, @pchan31!

We’ll be talking all about what he’s been whipping up in the kitchen and what’s next for Patrick — see you there!"
Here's Panasonic's IG Live from 4+ months ago: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CzCs8HdrBwS/

Jackie Wong's IG Live with Patrick just over 3 weeks ago (Feb. 14): https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3WRZ2HuRyc/
He is an event ambassador (with Joannie Rochette) for Montreal Worlds - from Skate Canada's 5/24/23 press release:.
In their role, Rochette and Chan will interact and engage with fans, conduct interviews with the media and be available for speaking engagements. The event ambassadors help share the athlete experience with media and fans so that the competing athletes can focus on the task at hand.
He also will perform in the Exhibition Gala on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

ETA: A quick online search turns up that Patrick "currently serves as a Wealth Planning Intern at Nicola Wealth, leveraging his background in commercial real estate and client service."

Patrick is the featured episode of the "Don't Change Much" podcast:
Patrick Chan is the most decorated male figure skater in Canadian history. A three-time world champion, he won Olympic gold in 2018 and two silver medals in 2014. While he knew exactly what he wanted to achieve as an athlete, retiring from professional competition proved to be one of the hardest moments in Patrick’s life. Patrick recounts his experience, encouraging more men to have honest, candid conversations about the impact of life’s challenges.
