I survived the Wicked Games Dance Party I can survive anything. More than that, I can actually see this being good? Leans into their dramatic character storytelling style, could make for a good Olympic moment, different enough from both Carmen and Perfume to make an impact, Christina dies again but Anthony chooses to die with her holding her corpse.

In the 2012/13 season didn't Davis/White dump their FD post Champs Camp and skate their own Notre Dame program?
And it's a little funny that they will have their own personal Carmen vs Notre Dame internal competition

I wonder what their original music was and why it was changed. I know Christina said she suddenly didn't feel it anymore when it was skated at the camp but I can't help but wonder if the reaction to it was muted or if someone else was skating to it or similar.

So the more I think about it, the more I think it will work very well for them. Look, I am a known hater of notre dame de paris however i think in this case it could work really well.

Also the davis/white changing after champs camp to nddp is kind of hilarious but also they were very successful after that and i don't mind channeling that kind of energy for them let's go get some medals

They do have one access to a coach who with his partner were the best at portraying characters and stories so while it's a warhorse they are in the right place to make the best of it.

It’s absolutely not my first choice for them but I’m willing to reserve judgement until we’ve seen it (and let’s be honest, until the GP). But I do think that they have it in them to really sell this. Maybe a safe Olympic choice, but in such a deep field? I’ll take it

I am a little crushed because for this quad, Perfume was my favourite program of theirs. I wonder how this will stack up to Romeo and Juliet from Zin/Kol and Reit/Maj? I need comfort and reassurance right now, but NDDP is not doing it for me. Why is it so hard for some to pick Olympic Programs while others struggle?

I mean, didn't we tell Cristina to do a Tango?

Eh, if they're going with a character-based theme there are lots of other storylines I'd have preferred over Notre Dame de Paris. I'm sure they'll give this all the angst and emotion it needs, but the music has become quite overused in skating in recent years. Go back to the '90s and mine some of those epic movie soundtracks like "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" or "The Three Musketeers" or "Braveheart", pretty please. Even "Titanic" would have been better than NDdP.

Also - I’d be Very Worried if this was in 2019 and going to be choreographed by Igor but I think that Scott, Madi and Adrian will bring a fresh approach to the music.
