I knew those knee slides looked vaguely familiar lol they look so good doing them! And their little dance break at the end is so so fun. They look more comfortable and faster in the first half, but that's fine. This is going to be so great by the end of the season.

Yay. AWESOMESAUCE. Now things are heating up.

Is that confirmed to be the music they are using? I think it's obvious most of the choreography is their new RD but there just seems to be a disconnect between the choreography and music in the sense that a lot of the choreographic moves don't really hit any of the notes in the music being played and that is very unlike Scott.

I didn't feel that. It will get even better with the season. They created a vibe on their very first outing, they absolutely smashed it.

I mean Christina said they would be debuting their rd, so presumably this very 90s music is the music. The other thing to consider is that this is the first outing in very early August and that choreography leaves them very little breathing room, so I imagine it will continue to get smoother and more refined throughout the season.

Not sure what I think of this choice. Feels like they can grow into it (which is good). While it’s not an unusual choice (which they’ve done a lot this quad) I do think that it can get a crowd into it like a dance party - and we all know that audience on board is key. Also it will look very diffeeent come challengers I imagine.

Otherwise - they look great! Super confidence and assured on their feet, great upper body movement. When there’s a better video I might watch this and Batdance back to back - how far they’ve come since last Olympic season.
