So what would Nancy Kerrigan do? She would post a clip in support of our small rink in Hobart that is up for sale and that we risk losing if it cannot find a buyer. Our campaign has gone international. Please feel free to join our FB group to show support.

And just an idea - wonder if we could get some other international skaters out there to send videos of support. It would be so cool.

Glad to see this new article and local news report!
November 2020 article on the history of the Glenorchy ice rink that I posted earlier in this thread:
For 40 years, one family has run Tasmania's only ice skating rink:
Shooting some promo for Channel 7's Winter Olympic coverage, by the looks of things. I'm glad he's [Brendan Kerry] looking better and he's home - he'll need to be in tip-top shape for the challenge of Nebelhorn this year!
I saw a few Instagram stories last week by Brendan, Kailani, and Chantelle Kerry & Andrew Dodds from Channel 7's Olympic photo shoot.

I don’t know why but I still think about Katia and her life. And the final note she left. I find myself thinking about her very frequently.
Same.

We seriously debated whether to continue covering the sport on our website and Facebook page after Alexandrovskaya's passing.

It was very traumatic to think that a sport which brings fans so much joy, may generate so much heartbreak for the competitors as well.

Lachlan Lewer also has pairs experience and won the basic novice pairs Oceana International in 2019 with his partner of 3 years. At 15/17 him and Campbell should have a long time in juniors still.

Did Ryan find a new partner too?

Campbell Young & Lachlan Lewer are a new Junior/Senior Australian pair team: https://www.instagram.com/teamyoungandlewer/
Here's Drew Meekins' recent post/photo with the pair at the World Arena in CO Springs: https://www.instagram.com/p/CO_Unm1rodU/
I’m excited to share I’ve been hard at work coaching a new pair team for Australia - Campbell Young (15) and Lachlan Lewer (18) @teamyoungandlewer 🇦🇺 Follow our journey as they train and compete this season at the Junior and Senior level.
Should we start a 2021-22 Australian domestic competitions thread in the Kiss & Cry section? Hollins Trophy dates are Saturday 12 June to Monday 14 June 2021.

Yay, Bill&Till! Will this be livestreamed? I'd love to watch their new FD again.
I hope the event is livestreamed, too.

On a side note, I wonder if two very talented junior ladies, Amelie Tabor and Victoria Alcantara, who competed on the JGP circuit, are still competing.

Victoria did the online event in Junior and Senior. Results when they are available are currently being posted.

Alcantara is training at the Cricket club in Toronto (stayed in Canada during the p*ndemic AFAIK).
Victoria did the online event in Junior and Senior. Results when they are available are currently being posted.
Thanks! Link for the online events is: https://www.isa.org.au/isaonlineevents
Alcantara competed in Senior (May event): https://www.isa.org.au/isa-online-event-results-may-21

ETA: New Zealand's Douglas Gerber, 17 (debuted on JGP in 2019), is training in Australia now with Richard Laidlaw and landed 3A in both his Senior SP & FS.

Hollins Trophy competition thread with links to starting orders/results and the YouTube livestreaming channel: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...june-12-14-other-aus-nzl-competitions.108358/
Can we keep discussion here? Not all of us do the Kiss n Cry section.
The Kiss & Cry section is open to all for now, and since there is a livestream for Hollins, I decided to start a competition thread.

Correcting my song ID error in my April 28th post:
James Min shared a few seconds of a new program in his Instagram story and I recognized the opening notes of "To Build A Home" by The Cinematic Orchestra.

ETA that this April 13th "free program sneak peek" clip is Coldplay's "O" (Fly On)" (assume it's from the same program?): https://www.instagram.com/p/CNmd6uDBtxB/

Chantelle Kerry & Andrew Dodds are listed for Nebelhorn Trophy (among several other early ice dance internationals), along with Anastasia Golubeva & Hektor Giotopoulos-Moore (also the JGP in Krasnoyarsk since they are based in Russia) in the Google document (link is titled "2021_22 International Assignments-Updated") in the International Nominations, Assignments and Rankings section of the ISA website: https://www.isa.org.au/high-performance-and-athlete-development
