Ashley Wagner Cheer Thread #3: The Subject of Tonight's Lecture...

I think she is a lock for the team even if she doesn't hit any of her jumps. Corporate sponsors have a lot of money invested in her and if she doesn't make the team, USFSA loses a lot of money.

Ok Angie...you've been around and you know how it is. If you are really her, miss seeing you compete.
At this point, I would love to see both Ashley AND Mirai on the team. Bradie seems to be earning her ticket to the Games as well. Wish we could send 4 so Karen could go too.

I didn't know USFS gets a cut in individual skater(s)' sponsorships. How does that work out?
 
I don’t like this whole turn that’s happening of Ashley not likely to make the team. I hope this brings out the Underdog Ashley ( which I instantly fell for at 2010 nationals, and subsequently, snarky Ashley (those giggles at Sasha’s Bambi jumps :rofl: )

The show must go on :p
 
More undermarking on PCS for Ashley. But a team of Bradie, Mirai, and Karen is fine with me.
 
Ashley wasn't bad and her LP was higher than Karen's. Rafael could put his foot down and push out someone who finishes above her. I do want Mirai to go because I was heartbroken for her in 2014. I just hope Rafael doesn't persuade USFSA to screw over Mirai a second time.

There's something I don't understand whatsoever. You mentioned one time in the political threads that you were fed up with women. I've seen you get infuriated several times and it's infuriation about women.

The way I see it at this moment is that Ashley is no more infuriated than you are. You're always mad and upset especially about women. As far as I can tell and see it, you're more infuriated than Ashley will ever be and it's all the time with you. I'm sorry you always have something negative to say about everything. Maybe someday it won't be that way, and just perhaps, you won't be so infuriated when it comes to us women. I sure hope so because I happen to like you.

I'm an Ashley fan too, but I'm not blind to her recent performances and how she did at Nationals. There were 3 other people who made fewer mistakes and had more content than she did overall. She did finish 3rd in the LP and did a nice job tonight.

She has had a great career. I'm sure she could move on to be a media star or even an actress.
