Arena comfort

Is the Allen arena as cold as people claimed it was last year?
My only reference is last year, and yeah, it was freezing, I think they had the temp at 50 degrees. Allegedly, it was because it was so hot outside (mid-high 80s). This week's forecast looks like high 70s/low 80s, so maybe they won't need to turn the temp down so much. I'm bringing my winter jacket and my lighter jacket. I'll see which one I need.

Everyone said it was cold, but I didn't even wear my coat half the time lol. However I have been in that arena many times so maybe I'm just used to it idk. It will be a bit cooler this year maybe, but not significantly so. I'm glad it's going to cool down though it's been miserable this week. It should not be 95 degrees in October.

I thought it was freezing, especially the gala on Sunday night. After that event I bought this travel blanket. It will go with me to every comp now.

I've been to Skate America in Las Vegas and at Skate Club of Boston, Worlds in Boston, and Nationals in San Jose and I thought it was the coldest arena I've been in by far - like at least 50% colder than any others. With that said, I usually watch skating in a T shirt or light jacket, so I did not find it intolerable. A heavy hoody or winter jacket would be sufficient for me.

I attended last year (and I live in Florida, so maybe get colder than others 😂) but I was FREEZING. Had 2 sweatshirts over a long sleeve shirt and a blanket and was still cold.

The first time I went to this rink in 2019 for the Pairs Final it wasn’t freezing. I don’t even know if I had a second layer. It doesn’t need to be so cold!

Is the lady using the white blanket with the hearts on it and wearing the parka an FSUer, cause damn girl I felt you shivering in my living room!:cold:🥶 Y'all even look chilly on TV. :P
