Anna Cappellini/Luca Lanotte fan thread

Anna posted this on her Instagram a few months ago, and I have to say - it's really sweet. She also has a picture of them in their police uniforms, and one of Luca and his son (who is darling, of course).

She is absolutely the best-dressed skater around.

Baby Italians don't have one here?

I'll be a sobbing mess in Milan at the end of their FD

I think they had a thread but it got lost. In general, I like more how this forum works but what I do not like is that for the things stored is a disaster, nothing organized.

I'm so glad the white dress was brought back. The red one doesn't fit the program IMO

I think that maybe she will wear the red one for the individual competition.

Did she change the color of her dress? I remember it was white and now it looked beige, I prefer this new dress.

The voiceover from the beginning of their La Vita e Bella / Life is Beautiful free dance is posted (and translated) on Luca's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/BgVwd85AY3_/?taken-by=luca.lanotte_skater

Grazie mille to Anna & Luca for sharing their skating lives with so many fans over the years. :encore: I'm so grateful I got to watch both programs live in person once this season. May they enjoy the rest of their (separate) lives off the ice! :rockstar:

How was your season? Are you satisfied?

Oh yeah completely! It was… intense to say the least, crazy competitions one after another. Surely we would’ve loved to to bring home some more medals from both Europeans and Worlds at home. But it was even more important for us that we gave our utmost best with really high level performances and we had wonderful moments with our audience.

Are you thinking of your future?

Absolutey. Now it’s a moment of relax, vacation and recovery from this season that was really difficult and tiring, we have to heal some aliments we got durng the season. But of course we are thinking of our career outlets, of what we can give back to skating and not only.

So your intentions is to continue…

(laughs) Well for now we are on a break as I was saying but yeah we still haven’t put an end to our career, we still consider ourselves athletes because maybe we have still something to give.
So, it looks like they have not yet decided about retirerement or continuation definetely.
