I almost never post covers I’ve worked on over the years. Social is maybe five percent of the process of bringing these to life, and I prefer to let my brand accounts sing. That’s where I pour my love, that’s how I’ve always operated — brand-first instead of cultivating my own social presence (or lack thereof, rather). But this one feels incredibly special. The team worked tirelessly in a WEEK to conceptualize, style, book talent, shoot video and photo, design, write, edit, and edit again until everything was just right. I’m so proud of them, and proud of the small role I played in this.
And don’t get me started on Ice Princess @alysaxliu. She’s given so many of us hope, not just at Teen Vogue but nationally and internationally, in a time where pretty much everything is awful.
