I have a laptop on my lap so there will be no progress.Ah, a COL in progress.
For her robot program? (Vague memory)It reminds me of a dress Stephanie Rosenthal wore years ago.
Adeliia Petrosian (AIN) 72.89
“From my feeling, it was very calm. I really enjoyed my performance, and I hope the spectators enjoyed it as well. Mentally and psychologically, I was calm. I wasn’t nervous. These are my first Olympic Games, so I don’t feel any big pressure. We’ll see how it goes in the free skate.”
On her coach being at the boards:
“When I learned that my coach could be with me at the boards, I was very happy. It means I have more familiar people around me, and that makes it easier for me. I feel more support that way. He helped me focus on my performance. I think he was more nervous than I was. And I’m happy that I didn’t disappoint him.”
On her score:
“I’m quite pleased with my score. It’s good, and I’m happy with it.”
On staying outside the Olympic Village:
“I’m not staying in the Olympic Village. We are staying in an apartment not far from here. It’s easier to get to the rink — I can even walk or take a cab. I’m staying with my mom, and I don’t think she would have been able to stay with me in the Olympic Village.”
On competing against well-known skaters like Kaori, Alysa, Amber:
“I hope to be in the same warm-up group with them. I haven’t really seen them yet because we are all in different practice groups. But it would be nice to be in the same warm-up group and compete against them.”

Lol that's sweet. Half the elite ice dancers in the world would end up skating for CanadaSure is. I was showing my 8-year-old grandson Riku and Ryuichi's TE FS on the weekend and he couldn't wrap his head around WHY, if they lived in Canada and trained in Canada, they didn't skate FOR Canada instead of Japan. When I explained that they were born in Japan, he just kept saying, "Yes, but they moved to Canada." Bless him, he has no idea how very much there is about figure skating that most of us will NEVER understand.

If we've learned nothing else this Olympics, anything is possibleOkay, I need some of these women to deliver like they've not delivered all season and knock Petrosian out of the lead.

The KOR skaters could.Okay, I need some of these women to deliver like they've not delivered all season and knock Petrosian out of the lead.
Really enjoyed that from Julia. Loved her dress. Carol said she's 28 years old? And, you guys all like her, it seems. Y'all need to leave Boyang alone!![]()
They have. Brenda Irving is the one doing it and she's been mentioning where the skaters are originally from throughout the Olympics but she definitely focuses on it more with the Russians and the Russians who have relocated since the invasion.Has CBC been calling Petrosian "Russian" all day? I know she is, but isn't she here as a (supposedly) neutral athlete?
Just for fun.Kimmie uses her long limbs much more gracefully now.
