The vest look doesn’t help the line. Thought the same when Timothy Goebbels was skating. Makes the arms look short.

Often new-to-seniors use music that's too big for them because their skating/presentation is still very juniorish.

With Jacob it seems the opposite: he's outgrown this cheesy program - but isn't quite to a place where he would lean into the camp of it. Look forward to seeing more from him.

I don't see what's particularly special about Sanchez. He has energy, no doubt, but his program is cheeze, and he's not refined. His edges aren't that great. Here's a sentence that I never thought I'd write: I'd much rather watch Ma move.

His jumps are pretty consistent which is quite a rarity for our junior men.

Poor Jacob he got a little to excited but if he adds a quad he can and will move up and pass a lot of these guys who've been stagnating for the last 4 years. He has the skating quality the judges love and performance skills now get the jumps and take that Olympic spot next season.

Jacob needs more stretch and some polish. But those jumps and his overall attitude are beautiful. Glad for this skate!

I love the way Sanchez moves and his energy and projection. He skates big. But I was disappointed in his spins, camel spins in particular.

I like the program and the music :.

I was doing several things at once, glanced up, saw he was skating to “music” before it flashed off the screen. And for a brief moment, I thought, well, yeah, of course he’s skating to music. Did they get tired of writing “various artists “?

Then I heard the opening notes and the realization hit me. Ohhh—he’s skating to Music. Guess my brain was trying to protect me from the truth
