2025 Skate Canada Pairs FS PBP - The Pair Glitch Project

PerMich - 3tw - good; SBS 3t+2a - she singled the Axel; throw 3lo - sketchy landing; SBS 3s - both hands down for her; first lift - looked okay through the glitching; throw 3f - and down she goes... That's gonna be enough to give KamO a medal; combo spin - you know, the spins look better through the glitching, lol; second lift - nice; choreo seq - alright; last lift - decent; BODS - okay.

Well, through the glitching we got PerMich back to their old selves from last season in the FS.

Their SP yesterday was so good, but this was... rough.

I do appreciate them using just the actual soundtrack from The Mission though, with no lyrics.

I’m a huge sucker for any Mission program (though nothing tops Matt Savoie), but Lia and Trennt needed to be clean after how Ellie and Danny skated.

Program could be very impactful if done clean.

David Liu has the absolute masterclass in The Mission IMO but Savoie's is right up there as well

I watched David Liu's program at your recommendation last year (or whenever). It's SO good.

Lia with difficulty on the Axel after a good triple toeloop, and not sure if that threw her off for the rest of the program but they were definitely fighting each other throughout.

Lia & Trentt had like a 22 point lead after the SP. Nah. The Brits PCS was too low as it is.

I forgot about the big lead, but I wasn't really that serious.

What is it about perfectly good singles skaters who switch to pairs, that they can't even keep the easiest triples? She had those, already!

I was thinking the same thing. I love Lia and Trennt but she shouldn't be missing jumps. Still they are wonderful.

Their timing on the SBS 3t has looked really strange this season. I know KMT mentioned at the start of the broadcast that they had been reworking it, but right now it almost reminds me of the early days of their partnership, when they each did completely different entrances into the jump.
