these are also possible the least objectionable covers I've heard, although of course the originals would be much better.
Ok, the TFF cover sucks, but I just cant be mad at this program because Ellie landed her shit and they did great

That's about as good as it gets for them. Puts pressure on the teams ahead (other than the Germans, realistically).

Also, that Tears for Fears cover always makes me think of McIntosh/Toste.

There's at least two other covers of Everybody Wants to Rule the World that I've seen skaters use and this is by far the worst one.

That said, good for Kam/O'Shea bringing it when it counted. They did pretty well and Ellie landed her throws!

Given what they've been through this season, that was a wonderful skate for Ellie and Danny. Standing O for them .... and well deserved. I'm SO happy for them. Good stuff.

I cannot be a psycho about rotations with this glitchy screen, so let's just say everything was rotated.

Absolutely possible to get 137-138 (dare I say 140?) here which would be astronomical for their Olympic chances.

KamO - 3tw - good; SBS 3t - so she can land jumps after all; SBS 3s+2a - hey, maybe they want to go to the Olympics after all; throw 3f - tiniest, slowest throw ever but she stood up, so yay? BODS - if only Peacock wasn't glitching; throw 3lo - so, this is probably the only time that KamO are going to have a clean FS all season; first lift - fine; combo spin - fine; these costumes scream tango not emo covers of iconic '80s songs; second lift - good; choreo seq - fine; last lift - fine.

I really don't understand what Meekins was thinking with this music for an Olympic season program. I mean, I'm glad they skated clean and all, but that program is just so below their abilities and entirely too pedestrian for the Olympics.

That was so good. Their skating skills are just so amazing, it allows them to truly create big moments in their skating. And they have great extension and finish.

There's no other pair today really showing us skating skills like this.
