The disparity in Frangipani's costumes between his short and his long is very amusing to me

ETA: This really isn't his day :fragile:

Not terrible from Frangipani, but similar level to many previous performances where he was unable to land the big elements.

204.64 = 1st Place

I love Jimmy but there's so much just skating around between jumps until he finishes them all so it makes the music feel like it's performing him as opposed to him skating to the music. The footwork to YMCA is great but the rest just feels meh because he's not really doing anything with it.

Ma should have been skating programs like this for all these years. He's having fun, and I don't mind that he misses the jumps.

I really like Adam Hagara. It's wild to me that this is his first senior GP because I kept seeing him at senior Worlds and I didn't realise how young he is. He's got a ton of potential I think it's going to be cool to see him grow over the next couple of seasons.

3 of the 4 biggest scoring elements did not work today. His skating, and performance quality are top rate.

Two Italians, and two Americans came into this competition looking to change the narrative regarding the Olympic entries for their respective countries, but all four have only further cemented that they are not among the favourites for those spots.

-1.00 = Falls
153.49 = 2nd Place
229.60 = 2nd Place

This is so empty :\
Only just got up, so I'll watch after the final group, but this is what I was worried about with Jimmy's switch. I'd be fine with these tacky crowd-pleaser programmes if they ever actually had interesting and complex choreo! Not that was likely, with a mid-season change...

Injury issue continuing for Pitot, and so no quadruple jumps still. Pretty solid skate, but just not quite sharp enough with his performances.

151.23 = 3rd Place
229.47 = 3rd Place
