2025 Cup of China Pairs Free PBP - I'd Do Anything For Points (But Am Wont To Splat)

And the power just went out in my crap hotel... good thing I'm checking out today and moving to my aunt's house.

Chris and all his talk about "quite a lead" and "pretty substantial" lead and "not sure they're going to need it" ..... I mean, it's less than 4.5 points, right? It's probably enough and they will probably skate well enough to win ... but ice is slippery.

Sigh, woke up in time to see McBeath/Parkman have that rough skate. Great lift to end, but ouch....

ooof that was just labored from the beginning. I'm glad she survived the lifts, they were not confidence-inspiring :yikes:

Can’t decide if it’s the program itself that’s an issue, or if they just are inconsistent skaters who can’t make it thru a long program.

Well, that was a skate that they will try to wipe from their memories as quickly as possible. It's a shame but they'll just pick themselves up and skate on with a much better performance next time.

3T< both 2A probably also. Way different timing and such separation on the Salchow attempts.

First lift called lasso and it definitely was, the arm way up there how it should be. Second is the exact lift they did in the short and ONCE AGAIN it's called a group 5 here.

I think there are flashes of something but it's clear they have no stamina and the skating isn't flying around like it used to.
