2025-26 Peacock Streaming

Also have no commentary on Peacock. It's a good broadcast, haven't noticed the weird camera angles some mentioned yesterday. Only issue is the jump map is annoying but otherwise enjoying this!

I've discovered that as long as I leave the Peacock window open on my laptop while the practice stream is still live, I can rewind the stream until it is deleted eventually.
I have discovered that in past competitions as well. It doesn't last forever, but I have had it stay up for almost 24 hours before. Probably not for the Olympics.

It was nice to see Kaori skate such a lovely short all by herself.

I am keeping an unofficial tally of days and tiles that stay up. So far the Team short tiles are still up (NBC) - I'll see if they are still up tomorrow. Today I notice that the venue feed tile is available for replay - I wonder if that is because it is no commentary. This is probably for nothing, but I am hoping that since so many programs have been through the "rights" process NBC may give us a little bit more time?

Training streaming this morning at 8 a.m. One skater - Meda V. from Lithuania - but NO AUDIO!
Next group is on the ice but there is only one skater Ekaterina Kurakova. Still no audio.

Audio is playing in the practice stream now (scheduled to run until 3:05 pm Eastern time). A second practice stream today will be the RD warm-up, starting at 11:20 am ET.

View has been the warm-up area for the athletes and pretty much all of the teams in the last two groups have been seen on screen at one point or another in the last 45 minutes or so.

RD Warm-Up stream is live (final 2 groups) and the Training stream also is showing the main arena now.

CarPomCam is on! ;)

ETA: Peacock has 2 practice livestreams today - one is happening now (the warmup area is being shown during ice resurfacing between the women's groups) and the other will be the RD warm-up, starting at 11:20 am ET.
I've been pretty disappointed in the training sessions streaming. They stick on one (or two) skaters and ignore the rest. Yes, I did see a lovely short program from Sakamoto when she was the only one on the ice, but whoever is on the camera is probably following some proscribed instructions from NBC - and it's not working. The least they could do is follow the skater(s) whose mucis is being played. I'm getting much better information by reading Jackie's notes.

The venue feed has already started and 4 teams have skated. The USA stream is still showing commercials and then going off.

It's definitely venue feed today. Now I need to go check my DVR settings.
