Golden West Championships (All Year FSC) at Great Park Ice in Irvine is 8/31 to 09/02. While not an NQS this year, it is a very popular competition and will be bound to have some noteworthy competitors.

She's going to continue to be at the mercy of a panel that looks the other way for the rest of time apparently. The 3T still goes up and down with zero height or distance, and it's not even close to being all the way around. And the flip remains a severe outside edge.

Yes, and? Elite skaters don't enter summer/fall warm-up comps to collect gold medals, they want to try out their programs to prepare for their int'l events. Failing to cleanly rotate any of her triples doesn't bode well for her at Challengers and GPs. Hopefully she just had an off day and will be jumping better at her next comp.And yet she still won by 45 points.
My point was just that she's still one of the US potential highest scoring contenders even at her worst. I'm unwilling to write her off.
Usually she doesn't get every single triple called < or q by the toughest of international panels, so I have to think that this was just a really off day.
