Actually, I prefer his previous costume. This one isn’t cohesive with her.

Evan's all black/dark gray isn't working for me with her dress at all. Although I also don't like the dress. I understand what it's referencing from an art deco standpoint, but the neck is constructed in an uncomfortable looking way and the color is terrible.

Plus the art deco makes me think that a gatsby program would be more interesting.

WFT is going on with this costume. I swear she is wearing short sleeves made out of illusion. That can't be right.

I wrote a long post the day after SkAm in the SkAm FD thread about the many issues I have with her dress. She did remove the art deco panels on the back but the center front panel still needs to go - she'd still accomplish the fan effect that's prevalent in art deco but it wouldn't look like it's choking her.

The copper opera gloves aren't a bright enough copper to provide the necessary contrast to her bare upper arms, so it winds up being distracting.

I still don't care for how the skirt panels hit on her hips with the nude illusion on the side & back torso - it creates the optical illusion that she has love handles and... Please, no one on earth believes that Madison Chock actually HAS love handles.

It’s much better than it was and her dress works in closeups, it’s only moldy from a distance. I like Take 5 and think they can do much more to bring a jazzy atmosphere, but even I see their lack of speed and how much time she spends with her feet off the ice.
