I really don't get what the judges are on for Reed/Ambru. I feel like the judging has been decent this year, and then their scores are out of nowhere.

I love CarPons' RD. I know I'm an Uber, but I also am an Uber of Dem/LeM and I didn't love theirs even a little. CarPons' RD has such a clear perspective and style. It's like the opposite of everything coming out of MIDA. :shuffle:

I don't agree with that as a blanket statement, as I think Green/Parsons' RD is one of the best pieces of RD choreo of the year, also their FD. Jean-Luc Baker is doing beautiful work (I think he did both?)

Jean-Luc has a real future in choreo, especially if he does better than Cizeron at creating dances for teams very different than his own.

Jean-Luc's Choreo for Green and Parson's is great, but this is one of the first times a team from MIDA has used another choreographer. Packaging is more than just choreo. MIDA is struggling with both. I think it's pretty telling that Green and Parsons finally have a great FD now that they're finally working with a different choreographer.

As far as Green and Parson's RD, I think it's fine but not amazing.

Either way, I don't think that one team getting good programs after years really disproves the fact that MIDA is struggling to create programs and packaging that fit their teams. Looking for outside help clearly is working, and should be done more to solve this problem.
