For the 50th time, this is Aymoz's home rink and where he started skating. The rink isn't exactly big, though.

Even so, the crowds are impressive. And engaged. It's great!

Composition and presentation marks should be through the roof. He's bringing Bolero back next year but I think I like this even more. Skate America was such perfection. Top 5 all-time skate I've ever seen, no doubt.

There is not another skater in the field who deserves a higher PR mark, and I'd say he's pretty close on CO to Kagiyama.

That's a beautiful program from Kevin,but it has so much showy fluff I feel it is already in the Jason Brown territory when the only possible award is going to be "lifetime achievements" one.

Aymoz saved his one good quad for the performance! Both axels were gorgeous, especially the second. I’m not convinced by this new lutz entrance. Flip should get called an e.

Not perfect for Aymoz, but still pretty good for him. First quad was one of his best, and the second 3A was like butter.

Not a bad skate for Kevin at all. That 3axel from the Ina Bauer was indeed stunning! Fabulous crowd reception, which was to be expected. He seems happy with it, so all is well. Such an emotional skater .... have always loved him.

I'm surprised by the huge crowds in France. I didn't think figure skating was that huge in France. Not the way it is in Korea or Japan.

The crowds have gotten bigger each day. Thursday wasn't so packed. But it's great to see a big crowd for skating, no matter where it is, IMO.

Wheee! I couldn't remember whether or not Kevin was doing his aerial in this program or not, but I know Ilia's got the backflip, so that's why I knew I'd get my bingo this segment. I'm happy to have it now. I've tried, relentlessly, to nix GilPoir's FD costumes, but they keep bringing them back like a deadbeat, bad boyfriend, so I'm going to withhold my costume decision until after I get a look at Ilia's costume in motion.

My opinion is he could be skating to anything. As a really bad 8-year-old dancer.
