Right?! That's maybe 15 seconds per song. And a total romp from the '50s through the '70s.

The FD sounds like it could be interesting, though I was more excited by the idea of them doing a tango.

Jive Bunny aren't exactly mashups, but they're megamixes that go through a lot of songs, fast. My dad used to play them in the car, and I consider them a source of musical brain damage, but also kind of love them.

The issue with using mixes and mashups like this for RD dances is that the cuts have to be even faster and it's just too fast to get the recognition and nostalgia to resonate within the chaos. When you give it a little time to breathe, it can be fun. They exist for a reason.

Let's not forget Hubbell/Donohue's tragic 2016/2017 hip hop SD.


I would love if ISU was like, we need to go viral so let's design the RD per the totally contemporary meme of 2006: Evolution of Dance dance. And that's how we got to this decades of social dances shit.

I think these are WTH choices.

I like Take 5 but I just listened to a live version of Juju singing it and it comes across very cruise ship to me.

So far this year of ID is a disappointment for music choices.

And the RD is way too many songs.
