Too late for Skate Canada to reclaim their host spot and give it to Fiona Bombardier/Benjamin Mimar?

Hmmmmm... good question. I'd guess the answer is that the host feds can do whatever they want, lol.Too late for Skate Canada to reclaim their host spot and give it to Fiona Bombardier/Benjamin Mimar?
Lucrezia's foot is injured again.... after 2 months off the ice this summer for a stress fracture.... it doesn't sound good![]()
Agree - that post does not sound hopeful - their staff doesn't have an answer right now on the best path for recovery.I'm afraid it won't be a quick recovery...![]()
you can't say things like that....you're getting my hopes upI'm afraid it won't be a quick recovery...![]()
Aw but don’t wish ill on the Italians. It’s ironic that she’s the one with the injury given that he is very old in skating years, but I like them.you can't say things like that....you're getting my hopes up
you have no idea the national holiday I'm gonna throw for myself when GamKor gets a GP spot.
Only one cat will ascend to the heaviside layer. Who will it be?cats truly is cursed
I don't expect people to always write "serious stuff" in here but, tbh, I find your post, quoting mine which is about a skater who's facing back to back injuries and is still unsure about the outcome, a bit "over the top" to say the least...you can't say things like that....you're getting my hopes up

Ehhhhh... I'd cut @farahfan some slack. Goodness knows, I totally rained on her "Olympic hopes" parade a few weeks ago in the Pairs general discussion thread in the Trash Can. Plus, no one took exception when I told ANL earlier this week that we were only 5 more Pairs withdrawals away from his MarBed team getting a GP. It would be pretty monumental for GamKor to get a GP - I'm pretty sure they'd be on the second Filipino skater/team to get a GP ever (Michael Christian Martinez having had 1 in 2014 and 1 in 2015).I don't expect people to always write "serious stuff" in here but, tbh, I find your post, quoting mine which is about a skater who's facing back to back injuries and is still unsure about the outcome, a bit "over the top" to say the least...
No need to guess, I’m 100% from NA and lived many years in Europe.I also don’t think @farahfan is from NA/Europe so we have to give some grace for cultural norms.
Apologies then.No need to guess, I’m 100% from NA and lived many years in Europe.
I'm going to borrow this phrasing and idly wish that Lucas Broussard can get a second GP.I think there's a significant difference between idly wishing that a team could somehow have their way cleared and joyfully hoping that a real person who has suffered a serious injury has a slow recovery.
Wow. The grid and entries list haven't even been updated yet. That communication between the feds must have just happened, lol.Polish FSA has posted an Instagram story confirming Chtchetinina/Wozniak have been assigned to Skate Canada: https://x.com/anythinggoe/status/1848325668561432978
I'm sure the Polish fed is happy to pay to get them there so they have a 2nd GP.Under this year’s rules, it means it’s all on the Polish Fed’s dime to get them there, since it’s within seven days to the comp.
