Pretty fantastic line-up in men’s, women’s and pairs.

Dance is more average with Guignard/Fabbri as the only top name. Some interesting head-to-heads, though, for Germany’s b teams and France’s c teams. Also interested to see where Neset/Markelov place here.

So many thoughts - ID is gonna be sooooo interesting! Wonder if LajLag can pull off an early season upset. And we CarPon fans get to see their FD! Early season Spanish showdown! Early season Japanese showdown! Pairs - decent field, but disappointing no Italian teams. Women - Isabeau! Mone! Hana! Kimmy! Livia! Elyce! Men - Meh. I know people will be excited about Junhwan & Deniss. I was hoping for Lucas and am annoyed with USFS at this oversight.

Nebelhorn thoughts

Agree with @Karen-W that the men’s field is OK but I get to see Frangi bonus points there. The woman’s field looks interesting. Nice amount of entries in both field so far. Pairs also will be enjoyable. ID already kind of mostly predict the top six. Really interesting to see a Spanish showdown.

Eh, I'm not sure the Top 6 in ID is entirely predictable, beyond "these should be the Top 6 in some order" - LajLag, Taschlers, SmaDie, FearGib, CarPon, ZingKol.

Good mixture of skaters between Lombardia and Nebelhorn! I hope that they will both be streamed with decent quality…and not too expensive.

Mid-range pair dudes have done well with switching countries, now we see how well an entire Russian pair does moving to another country. (I know Pavlova/Sviatchenko are both Russian but she had been with HUN for a while before him). Akopova/Rakhmanin are also supposed to be representing Armenia starting in 2025.

GeyChi are a painfully generic Mozer team but iirc they have tecknik.

Probably good enough to not finish last at 4CCs - there are still the lower level Japanese & Chinese teams plus GamKor. Maybe even good enough to beat the US teams if we don't send our top teams.
