I KNOW...it kiils me that he is at the other end of this. I have a soft spot for Lamar too. And I really think Lamar, despite a few mistakes, was LAMAR in that game with the Bills. The Ravens will be scary next year. I don't know about the Bills. I think I want Josh to have his day in the sun. Or at least not be at the other end of a loss to the Chiefs. He was like a sad puppy in that press conference. Painful.
 
I also wonder about the Bills coach to go for 2 not once but twice.

That was 2 almost certain points vs 4 potential points. 2 points wouldn't have changed the outcome, but what kind of momentum would it have done?
 
Hard to be too sad about the Commanders, what a turnaround season! I was rooting for Buffalo, but I can’t root for our division rival so I’ll be slightly on the KC side.
 
I’m stuck. I’ve got a lot of problems with the Eagles going back to their hiring a dog torturer QB. And I respect Andy Reid a lot. But dynasties annoy me…..

If they win, I suspect Travis will retire, he's got his acting career going - not just commercials. Chris Jones too, Chris threaten to two years ago. Karloffis has grown to be a great defensive guy, but not a Jones level. I don't think we will see Rice - I haven't heard anything about his injury or his legal troubles. They have several up and coming potential offensive stars - Worthy, Pacheco, Shuester, a couple others. But I don't remember who is free agent or will need increase to entice them to stay. Patrick will be 30, how long will he stay in?

Andy has talked retirement for the last couple years. Spagnolia is likely to be scooped up, unless Chiefs name him head coach.

If they lose? The options again are wide ppen.

And yes, I know I misspelled a large # of names.

I think that is the point. Dynasties annoy everyone if it is not their team. I know I was so tired of New England. New blood is invigorating.
 
Having nearly been punched in the face by an Eagles fan who assaulted a Commanders fan on the concourse at FedEx Field as I was walking by, and having been collectively verbally assaulted many times at Nats Park by Phillies fans for no good reason, I have problems with Philly sports fans too.
 
All teams have badly behaved or violent fans, but I do have to say I've heard more about bad eagles fans

But that could be for a variety of reasons.

And this is why I can't support the Eagles.

On another note... did anyone else watch the Pro Bowl Games yesterday? I found it pretty entertaining. But it also made me a little sad, because this may be the last time I see a Darnold-to-Jefferson touchdown. I like Sam, but I have a hard time seeing him staying in the purple and gold next season.

I missed it. And that makes me mad. I need to pay attention. Sad for Darnold but he will land on his feet. I'm reading some disturbing articles about Justin Tucker. Not good and especially not good if you are the best kicker we've ever seen. What is wrong with some guys?

Yeah you don’t want to believe it but you have establishments telling the best kicker in football to stay away. I’m glad they stood by their employees.

Like neither team has experienced 80° temps. Like the game isn't going to play in a climate controlled dome.

Then she finishes with I don't care I'm not watching anyway.

I don't know. But I do know if someone (like me) was a betting lady - I put $200 on "watch it and complain about Patrick and Travis all night".

😀 Jason is so much fun. He and Kylie both wished Travis well but they are all Eagles today.

Have you followed this whole Trump thing and the Mahomes? Brittany liked one Trump post way back when. Then Trump said he hated Taylor and Brittany removed her “like.” But ever since then Cheeto goes on and on about “Mrs. Mahomes” and of course that ridiculous lie about Patrick and Tommy Tuberville who might be the dumbest Senator ever.

I wish Cheeto would stay away from the game today. Although I think Patrick’s mother adores him. Blech! How did a normal guy emerge from this family? ( With apologies to his little sister who seems fine. )
 
One more thing: I hope Kendrick Lamar doesn’t hold back at halftime if he has something he wants to say to Cheeto.
 
As I told my son, you can vote for who you like.

I will be surprised if he stays for the whole game, but unless it's just a publicly stunt I hope he enjoys the game. But it's 99% sure it's a political stunt.

I going to focus on Mahomes and Hurts.

I'm disappointed that NFL felt pressured to remove End Racism. But we know how that happened.

I can totally see Kendrick debuting a new “diss track” (whether it’s about Drake or something in politics) during the halftime show and it immediately becomes available on Spotify. But I don’t think he’ll do it unless the track itself is AMAZING. Like better than “Not Like Us” amazing.

Shall we do a separate thread about the Super Bowl itself? Because some of us might want about WAY more things than the game - the pre-game festivities, commercials, halftime show, all the VIPs attending, Puppy Bowl, etc.
