Korea is 9 points behind Japan, so Junhwan needs to be no worse than 3rd (10 points), provided none of the other guys finish behind Shun and/or Kazuki. Now Junhwan needs to be first or second?
His entire alignment in the air is off, there's no stretch, and it's scary in his quads. Is the leg wrap getting worse? It looked really severe at times, particularly the final triple lutz. This is the best free skate he's done in quite some time.
Well, you won't have to be bothered by Grassl skating to Richaud choreo next season. Are you really sure you want to give that up for some Danny G crap? You don't even need to look at his bio to recognize this as the Richaud choreography it is.
I don't know if there's that much of a difference tbh. I guess fewer leg kicks and less maudlin face pulling with Richaud?Well, you won't have to be bothered by Grassl skating to Richaud choreo next season. Are you really sure you want to give that up for some Danny G crap?
Yup.I'd just rather watch Rizzo.
Yup, which means Cha now needs to finish no worse than 2nd to tie Japan in the overall points.Looks like Korea lost 2 points![]()
So, the tie-break would go to Korea - 12+11 vs 11+11 for Japan.Page 11 of the WTT Announcement: https://www.isu.org/docman-document...-team-trophy-2023-tokyo-jpn-announcement/file
Tie Breaking within the Team Standings
In cases of ties between Teams, the following tie breaking procedure will be used. This is only applicable after the
second discipline of the current phase has started.
• The highest total Team points from the two best places in different disciplines of the current phase will break
the ties.
• If they remain tied, the highest total segment scores of the two best places according to the Team points in
different disciplines of the current phase will break the ties.
• If they remain tied, the highest total Team points from the three best places in different disciplines of the
current phase will break the ties.
• If they remain tied, the highest total segment scores of the three best places according to the Team points in
different disciplines of the current phase will break the ties.
If these criteria fail to break the ties, the Teams will be considered as tied.
This. Even if not in competition, but preferably in things that are available on TV to those of us outside the U.S.I hope Jason keeps skating for another decade.![]()
It's good that we have James Bond, and not Ethan Hunt from Mission ImpossibleSo, the tie-break would go to Korea - 12+11 vs 11+11 for Japan.
