Did he lose his costume? This was a rough competition for them - he seems to have no confidence on the triple toe-loop. Lifts were good.

Valentina and Max have huge throws. If she can just manage to control the landings so they're squeaky clean, they'll be spectacular. I totally missed that he doubled the jump at the first of the program as I was watching her. Valentina had lovely upward stretch in those overhead lifts ... makes you think how amazing it must feel to "fly" like that.

Even in the most simplistic of lifts, not even where she's going over his head, it looks like he's having trouble. I would just skate through the rest of the lifts if that's the case.

His feet are a mess and his body is so bouncy during the lifts they did get done. Not their day, and extra terrifying considering how the middle was going.
