Bummer for them They weren't that close to getting their mins though, were they? She hasn't seemed like she was fully back from her terrible knee injury. I'd rather her get better and have a realistic chance at improving next season rather than pointlessly keep going. Well, anyways, I hope whatever is wrong isn't too major.

Less than 2 points. I'm not sure how realistic it was though, since that was a score from last season, before her injury. Hopefully they'll come back better next season.

Osipova/Epstein - not too shabby. I missed their twist and throw, but the rest was decent and they got a good score - 58.85, so it couldn't have been too much of a disaster.

Caldara/Maglio - really nice 3tw! Decent-ish SBS 2A. Decent-ish throw 3lo. He's wearing black gloves and it's very weird with the half-length sleeves of his red shirt. They seem improved since earlier in the fall, which is good.

Pavlova/Sviatchenko - nice 3tw. Swishy landing on the throw 3z! SBS 3Ts clean. Our Russo-Hungarians are quickly improving. I wonder which other Russian pair will take the chance and make the country switch this summer since they've already earned Hungary 2 spots for Euros and are looking strong to earn 2 spots for Worlds too.

I really enjoyed the hungarians at Europeans and todar as well. They are improving and look promising. Worlds will be interesting for them for a posible top 10

Danilova/Tsiba - let the battle for the Dutch national title commence! Bit crashy on the 3tw. Both with mistakes on the SBS 3S. Nice throw 3z! Really nice speed into their lift and throughout. SBS spins - good for the first half then wildly out of synch for the second half. They should have ended on their death spiral, which was really nice.

Piegad/Strekalin - sexy hand and hip choreo to open, lol. Light, airy 2tw. Nice SBS 2As! Eeek - down she goes sliding on the throw. Excellent lift and death spiral though! More wildly-out-of-synch SBS spins. I don't think this is going to be enough for the SP TES min they need to go to Worlds.

ETA - they didn't get the TES.

Schaller/Mayr - decent 2tw to open. SBS 3s clean! Good lift. Step out and two-foot on the throw 3s, but he managed to keep the pivot on the death spiral! Nice SBS spins for the most part! This is going to be close, and I'm hoping for a generous panel today!

VLDigs - crashy 3tw but they stood it up, so good for them. She stepped out on their SBS 3Ts. Oh, god, lift fail, because, well, yeah, this is a Dundee team. And she stepped out on the throw too. If I say it often enough, will someone at BIS find a decent Russian pairs coach who wants to flee Russia for Scotland?

Valesi/Piazza - yikes! He completely missed the catch on the twist and she went down. And she went down on the SBS 2As. Really low landing with a step out on the throw 3f. Okay lift, but I hate her position in the air on the platter. Nice death spiral. Really lifeless footwork, which is not okay with La La Land. SBS spins and horrid music cut to end. This was rough.

Gamez/Korovin - nice 3tw! SBS 2S... Okay. Nice throw 3s! Okay lift and decent death spiral. Wow - this is some pretty good synchronicity on their SBS spins! Maybe that trip they took with KanaDai to DisneyWorld last weekend was what they needed to figure their heads out because that's the best SP I've seen from them all season!

ETA - they did it! 31.33 TES!!!!
