No, they better not. But I meant more so that the ISU would (if they’re smart) have some sort of plan in place for all these scenarios. Also - Russia's not going to win.![]()

I think Sheffield would be more likely - the hockey arena is really nice there so would be an optionSheffield? London would be fantastic.
I want the event to be styled as, the Torvill and Dean Trophy CupI want a Downton Abbey program or two
And I would vote for a Bridgerton program or two!I want a Downton Abbey program or two
Hersh's tweet said Finland would keep the Russia slot and UK could be taking the China slot, so the weekend would be Nov 11th-13th for either Sheffield or Nottingham.I've just checked the hockey fixtures and if this event is the weekend of 25th-27th November then it would perhaps be Nottingham, because Sheffield play Nottingham at home that weekend?
Oops, meant to edit and ended up double posting: Maybe a Nottingham Panters home game too that weekend. So perhaps somewhere with less of a skating tradition.A quick look at their website suggests that the NIC/Motorpoint Arena doesn't have anything that weekend. I think Nottingham would be great for a GP. And I'm here for the Torvill and Dean Trophy Cup - I'm sure Chris would love being at the centre of events and handing out all the medals.![]()
Do we even have an ice rink???LEEDS FTW!!!!
I am totally in favour of this, but husband just suggested that as the Cup of China was normally sponsored by Audi that a British GP should also have a car sponsorship so maybe Jaguar Cup of Britain.I want the event to be styled as, the Torvill and Dean Trophy Cup
After dealing with Fanyus and Yunabots all these years, the last thing figure skating needs is to get Hamilton fans involvedBritish Grand Prix, eh? ?
? ?
Silverstone!?
Dawn French?? I'm going! Anything for the Vicar!I want the British GP to be sponsored by Terry's Chocolate Orange, and for Dawn French to be the official event sponsor's spokesperson.

Belfast would be extremely convenient for me, but unfortunately on this occasion it’s not in England.Doing a bit of research tonight - looks like all of the EIHL teams have at least one home game between Nov 11th-13th except Belfast. And, a quick look at the SSE Arena Belfast website doesn't indicate there is anything booked there that weekend yet. The arena in Newcastle also looks to be open that weekend and seems to like a reasonable possibility. My money is on one of those two, unless they are willing to go with a much smaller arena.
