I’m considering buying access to the remaining International events…excited about seeing the Thai Wonder 🇹🇭 and 3ple-axel Phoebe in today’s Jr Women’s finals (2pm eastern)!

How was the quality of the feed yesterday? No freezing?

^^^ The streaming quality (video & audio) of the Cranberry Cup Junior short programs was excellent for me yesterday.

Cranberry Open (club comp.) results through yesterday: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2022/30718/index.asp

The Mokhov siblings won the Senior Pairs SP (50.45) - only 2 teams competed: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2022/30718/CAT010SEG014.html
Their younger brother landed a 3S & 2A to win the Intermediate Men SP.

Cayla Smith/Andy Deng (JGP debut season will be at #2 Ostrava & #3 Riga) were the only team in the Junior Pairs SP (50.18) - their protocol: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2022/30718/SEGM038.html

Wow Pereira's opening 3flip 3toe looked great. Step out on the loop. Much better than her short at the Next Gen event where she did a double double combo. Good double axel. A very good skate from her.
just watched it on youtube - what a beautiful job she did, really the full package with the artistry and maturity. With consistency she will have a great year.

I'm half watching these, but for the most part the longs have not been as strong as the shorts (as one would expect this early in the season perhaps).

Also luckily Acosta had way less Sarah Brightman than expected. I really enjoy her skating, and I'm happy to see more skaters representing Mexico!

Kaneshige is a star that is all
I thought she had a ton of potential when I first saw her as an Intermediate level skater 2 years ago. :)

Thanks for posting the unofficial scores, @victorskid!

Logan Higase-Chen couldn't complete her planned opening 3T+3T but landed the rest of her jumps, incl. 5 triples.

Phoebe S. fell on her 3A today but, IMO, performed a better overall FS than she did at Cup of CO.

Kaneshige fell on 3A attempt but landed the rest of her planned triples, including opening Ripp3Lz+3T & second half Ripp3Lz, 3Lo+2A+2T, 2A+3T(<?).

Lia Pereira landed all 7 triples with minor flaws on a few of her landings (repeated toe & sal) and was REALLY happy afterwards! :)

I didn't pay for this stream so I don't know anything about the skating, but Phoebe Stubblefield is an awesome name.

Lol what happened to those scores in the junior womens???

Shinohara is a very good skater, but those jumps just weren't working for him.

I also think Li is really good, but that music was too heavy for me.

I hope hope Hildebrandt works on everything between the jumps, because those jumps have gorgeous spring and good technique. He just needs some more stretch and smoothness in the choreography and footwork.

There was a reason that they announced several times that the scores as announced are UNOFFICIAL!! They are obviously having some technology issues.

Jin was killing it until late in the program (that 3 jump combo argh). But I really love his style. He was swanning his way through this Swan Lake program. Could have used more arm flapping though.

Is this the same overwrought Beatles from before?? Omg it is lol I'm dying.

Strommer's opening combo was very springy and nice. Lots of arms over the head and an euler that looked like a trip my fave. He's very good though. I'll be excited to watch him grow in his skating.

Rough opening for Sanchez. Oh no it's dramatique Who Wants to Live Forever. I love his skating enough to forgive that perhaps. Jumps getting stronger as he goes. I feel like that a good sign. Oh no he fell on his last spin. He kind of laughs and throws his hands up.

Still shrugging as he skates off hahaha. He's so good, and I hope that's a good start to a great season.

108.50 total 172.93 currently in 2nd place
