Brilliant twist. He fell on a SBS jump. Strong secure lift. Now a one handed overhead with a difficult entry. The music wasn’t my favorite.
Skated it well though. 115.91

Chan and Howe,
Sloppy start. Fall on throw side by side elements were weak. Nice overhead lift. They then settled into a nice routine and had a lovely finish.

She fell on SBS jump. Fall by her on throw jump. She just fell again but I didn’t see why. Lifts are very strong.
Nice ending.

Jimmy Ma …only Senior Man entered.
His short was a beautiful classical
Piece so let’s check out the free skate. Popped first jump. Nice 3 axle.
It was a lovely performance to a more classical piece of music. The audience was spell bound and it was eerily quiet.
I was expecting a little edgier music for his Free Skate. 129.39

I thought Jimmy had edgier music for his FS program? This is a 30-second practice clip labeled "Attack on Titan" that was filmed by Audrey Lu and posted in early June: https://www.instagram.com/p/CPs0pSLgfTP/

Ma's popped first jump was likely a planned 4Lz! Ambitious content, according to his FS protocol sheet: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2021/29706/SEGM066.html

P.S. Thanks again @jkl for taking the time to post play-by-play from the rink! :) Had I known you were going to do this, I would have created a separate competition thread for Skate Detroit!

Does Emilea Zingas still represent Cyprus? It just says St Clair Shores FSC for her but Emily Saari and the Crafoords are listed as representing their other countries.

I would think so - pretty sure Saari originally was listed with her club and "Skate Austria" was added later (ditto for Crafoords).

Top 4 Senior ladies scored 100+ in the FS! Protocols are linked from results page: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2021/29706/CAT048SEG067.html
Top 4:
Sierra Venetta, SC of San Francisco 133.68 (3Lo+1Eu+3S, 2A, 3F, 3F+2T, 3Lz, 3Lz+2T, 3T & all level 4s!)
Gabriella Izzo, SC of Boston 125.72 (landed 5 of 6 triples with fall on 3F<<; scored higher here than in her 6-triple FS at Skate Milwaukee)
Emily Saari, Skate Austria 107.89 (landed 4 of 5 triples incl. 3Lz+2T & 3F)
Alexa Gasparotto, Arctic FSC 101.13 (landed 5 triples, incl. two 3F)

ETA:

IF SP & FS scores were combined here, top 5 would be:
Izzo 197.48 1 2
Venetta 186.04 2 1
Saari 160.26 2 3
Gasparotto 143.44 7 4
Zingas 137.58 4 5

I've been told that Glacier Falls will be livestreamed next week for $10/day (both rinks) which is the same cost for daily admission into the Anaheim ICE facility - results page (currently empty) & schedule links are posted on the club's website (NHL is the main rink): https://glacierfalls.com/
The link to watch video of the 2021 Glacier Falls Summer Classic is up (even though it says 2001):

$10 per day, all day, both rinks. July 29 to August 1

Should you want to come watch in person, tickets are $10 at the door, all day both rinks.

@mattiecat13, I haven't heard about anyone for certain but am assuming that Gracie will likely compete in her home rink next week and debut her FS? (She debuted her SP at Skate Wilmington earlier this month.)
Philadelphia Summer & Collegiate Championships event info (result page links still empty as well): https://iceworkssc.org/events/philadelphia-summer-championships-2/
"All spectators will need to purchase tickets. Ticket pricing is 10.00 /day."
Starting orders will be posted online here for Philadelphia Summer Championships (hopefully sometime on Monday? lower levels/excel/adult events are on Tuesday, July 27): https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2021/30050/index.asp
U.S. Collegiate Championships: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2021/29832/index.asp

ETA: Rink 2 is the main rink with the most seating (metal bleachers); Rink 1 (from experience) can get pretty darn cold & there is limited seating.

Gosh I wish there was streaming for the Philadelphia Summer Championships. I looked around the website but didn't see any mention of streaming but if there is I'm sure, somehow, I could watch it along with Glacier Falls :D

Me too, but I haven't seen or heard of anything to date. :( That's why I'm not going to start a separate joint competition thread for Philly/Collegiate Champs but will post notable results/scores in this one.

2017 JGP competitor Goku Endo (UCLA), 18, is one of 2 men competing in the Collegiate Junior Men's event and scored 51.01 in the SP (3Lz+3T< fall, 3A<<) earlier today.

Collegiate Senior Men SP results/link to protocols - Ryan Dunk leads (68.56; 3Lz, 3A fall, 3Lo+3Loq with negative GOE & all L4s): https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2021/29832/CAT003SEG007.html

ETA that 36 registered for the Collegiate Senior Ladies event - SP starting order for later this afternoon: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2021/29832/CAT006SEG013.html

Collegiate Championships Award Program & other info:
The Collegiate Championship Award Program emanates from the Pioneer Fund and is given out annually based on the results at the U.S. Collegiate Championships. This award program was developed to assist the winners with a one-time monetary scholarship award. The awards are distributed following the winners’ successful completion of their full-time, fall term/semester.
For the 2021 event, the Collegiate Championship Award Program will distribute scholarships based on entries at the close of registration in the total amount of $34,000. This is a one-time opportunity due to unused funds from the 2020 event that was canceled due to the pandemic. After the close of entries, the scholarship allocations listed below were determined based on level of competition and size of the competitive field.
NOTE: In order to receive scholarship funds, skaters must: 1) complete and place within one of the scholarship allocated positions and 2) provide proof of either a completed full-time student coarse load for the upcoming 2021 fall semester OR graduation between March 2020 and August 2021.
Instagram stories & photos will be shared on U.S. Collegiate Skating's official account: https://www.instagram.com/uscollegiateskating/

ETA:

Paige Rydberg won the SP (65.13), landing 3F, 2A & 3T+3T with all level 4 spins;
SP 2nd to 5th: Emma Coppess (competed at 2018 U.S. Nationals in junior), Kristine Levitina, Anna Li, Kimmie Nguyen (Heidi Munger WD).

Skate San Francisco results:

Starr Andrews won Senior Ladies with a score of 185.78.

Mia Kalin won Junior Ladies with 172.54. Two Canadian entries were 2nd and 3rd - Natasha Hewitt and Natalie Roccatani. Kalin tried two quads in the free, she fell on the first 4t (underrotated), then landed a 4t2t combo next (called 4tq+2t). Two 3+3 combos in the second half.
