I do enjoy thoughtful horror so "Midnight Mass" was right in my wheelhouse. I especially enjoyed the quiet conversations between Zach Gilford and Katie Siegel. This isn't a "gotcha" film. It plays out slowly but violently and shows how biblical interpretation can go sideways in terrible ways.

How they all speak perfect English and got perfectly coiffed hair and got modern day shoes and leather coats? That's way more people than was in that picture of the missing Team. I know we will likely never get answers to anything but damn is it gonna be fun!

Characters have mentioned there being numerous sinkholes. Considering the main cast had 50 or more people fall through, we can assume that many fell through in all of the other sinkholes as well.

All the people in that village were wearing fur skin clothing they had made from animals they must have killed. And their hair looked long and ratty to me.

"It looks like you’ll be able to watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving without an Apple TV+ subscription after all, as it will be airing on cable this year. The special is a Thanksgiving tradition for many families to watch each year, but in recent years, bigwigs have been trying to pull the holiday special from cable and onto a streaming service.

With much pushback from the public, it looks like the show will be back on PBS this year, November 21st at 7:30 pm."

Snoopy fighting with the lawn chair kills me. I guess that's why "folded like a cheap lawn chair" cracks me up.

Is PBS "cable"? We always got the local PBS station along with the three networks before we had cable. Maybe people don't anymore? And back on PBS? It never was on PBS. Charlie Brown specials have always been on CBS or ABC. It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown was on PBS this year too. I only would have noticed it on the cable guide on the usual three networks.

So I just checked for this one - A Charlie Brown Christmas will air on Sunday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. ET on PBS and PBS Kids. Too early to set the DVR.

I can only think of two things which La Brea could be about:

2. A natural wonder that the government, military and science world are trying to figure out

IIRC, La Brea only has a ten episode first season order from NBC and it seems to be doing fine in the ratings as of right now so you should at least get to see all of season one!

The sixth season of This is Us doesn't start in the U.S. until January?! Darn. I've really been looking forward to it. I can't remember them ever waiting so long to start the season.

NBC announced on Friday that the sixth and final season of This Is Us will premiere Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Only 18 episodes remain of the time-tripping family drama, whose stars include Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, and Sterling K. Brown. This Is Us is coming off its longest hiatus to date, having last aired a new episode in May, that being the season 5 finale.

OK, I am SOOOO glad that La Brea already got renewed for S2 because one, I've been enjoying it and want to see more stories, and two, the twist they dropped tonight was the greatest mind frack that I've gotten from a TV show in a long time. And yes, I know the show is cheesy in some aspects and the CGI/acting aren't going to win any awards but they definitely know how to keep this girl watching and I can't wait for the next ep. SO good tonight!

I was a little concerned after last week's filler episode - seriously you're 8 episodes into the season & you create an episode where interesting information could be learned & we only get more neat death experiences for a couple of the characters. The plot armour in this show is very strong.
