2020-21 Canadian Men News & Updates

ISU's feature on Nam Nguyen from WTT: https://www.isu.org/figure-skating/...gh-experience-and-friendship?templateParam=15

Excerpt from the end:
The next step might be the Olympic Qualifying competition in Oberstdorf, Germany, in September where a Canadian man will get the chance to earn a second Olympic quota place. Nam hopes to be the one selected, but he knows that competition is tough in Canada. “I would very much love to have that opportunity to solidify that spot. Obviously, it is up to Skate Canada. I just have to keep doing my best. There are a lot of guys that are going to be vying for that spot. As an athlete I obviously need to focus on my job and just let the motivation come to me and keep pushing myself.”
ETA that from 10:30-17 mins. Nguyen spoke in the WTT part of the ISU podcast: https://isu.org/media-centre/libraries/podcast

Excerpt:
It’s been 4 years since, and I’ve made over 70 videos now. I did my best to post as often as possible. If I were to summarize to someone what my channel is about, I would just say, “it’s about me.” Because at the end of the day, that’s what it is. It’s an amazing way to connect to my fans and show them the behind the scenes of my training. The audience only sees the polished product at competitions. They don’t really see the process it took to get there. And that’s what I love sharing with the world. I try my best to put my honest self in my channel. I always want it to be authentic and have my actually personality in it.
