S&K not bad, not bad at all. Although a bit of a yawn. Good performance overall.
I would like the last part to have some more Bausch movements with holds and body touch, instead of angst with hands and faces.

T&M, don't know what to think really.

Stepanova&Bukin: I like the music, good program. But Stepanova is as sensual as a dead fish. Not sold.

Shpilevaya&Smirnov: First time I see these two. Ima like it very much. Needs a bit of ticking and small fixing here and there, but I love their style.

Medvedeva: I'll see it better in competition. As of now I'm like meh...
Zagitova: Bad execution. But I do love that choreo. All the elements, spins, jumps, steps are well crafted with the music, and I love that all the jumps are hitting the big notes, right at the end of each music phrase.
I was expecting to not like it. You know, another Carmen (insert snore) although it suits her. But I do, and very much so.
If that program is executed well, no mistakes, it's a winner.

I love what I'm seeing from Medvedeva. I think she looks very mature, and she sems to be building some power.

I hate the edits on Zagitova's FS, but overall it's a good program for her I think. I hated the edits on her short too though.

Kolyada may be my favorite Carmen this season. Guh he's such an amazing skater. He just needs to get it together.

It was previously announced that Pavlyuchenko/Khodykin would skate to The Great Gatsby for their LP. But I didn't recognize any of the music pieces in that LP.

The music is not immediately recognizable, which is good.

She is not perfect, but it probably is not worrisome.

There are no lyrics or dialogue or inserted sounds, so she is going to have to work harder on the interpretation, but it is within reach.

She does an unchecked but ROTATED 3A with one foot landing in front of a crowd!

She Tanos her 3Lz combo, standard 3Lz, 2A-3T, easy 3Lp, easy 3Sal combo, 2A instead of 3F.

She lives in Russia for goodness sake! There are like a 100 Million people that could teach her how to extend her arms but nothing!

... But she gets the crowd to clap with the program at the end! Had this been a real competition, she could have been the winner.

Another thing I liked about Kolyada's FP is that he dressed appropriately for the occasion. Even if most skaters don't have their competition outfits ready yet, they should (IMO) be wearing something a bit 'dressier'. I know when we used to do competition simulations back in my day, we wore our nicest practice dresses, or an old competition dress for the occasion.
