How was on stage it compared to the film?

IMHO, it was good, but not quite as great as it was in the film.

The coordination to get all those people recorded properly for I Lied To You live must have taken so much rehearsal.

The movie definitely hits better but the live performance was still very solid.

I get that people get bored with long acceptance speeches but honestly, I don't think anyone should be getting played off.

Besides the proved last year when they let Adrien Brody keep talking that trying to play someone off doesn't work if you're determined enough.
