In 1981, neo-nazi Alexander McQuirter, head of the Canadian Knights Of The Ku Klux Klan, cooks up this hairbrained scheme to overthrow the democratically elected government of Dominica, and install former premier Patrick John in power, and establish the nation as a base for various nefarious illegal activities, including passport fraud. He is assisted by several Canadian and American neo-nazis. The attempted coup is stopped before it even gets underway, and McQuirter, among others, is charged on several counts. After serving two years for his involvement, he and two other Klan members plan to murder a third Klan member, Gary McFarlane, for his violence towards his girlfriend, and for his erratic behaviour threatening their passport fraud activities. Their hired hitman turned out to be an undercover government agent, the plot was foiled, and all three spent time in prison. The intended victim would go on to murder an Italian barber, and get sent to jail. While in prison, McQuirter would renounce his racist views, and leave the neo-nazi scene.
