2025-26 Program Music and Choreographers

Each movement in the program seeks to echo that spark, where art becomes life and life becomes art.

I hate when a choreographer/skater needs paragraphs to try and explain a pretentious program; it's never a good sign, imo. See: Medvedeva on the phone or Denkova/Staviski's crying baby as examples.

I feel like it might be more profitable for Adam to focus on skating clean before he tries to create the universe?

It's not an immediate hit like their Beatles RD but I'm trying not to be (too) judgemental because I think it could look quite different by the time they're ready to compete - and when it isn't cell phone footage with Jordan Cowan in the way half the time. Plus at this stage I'll take most RDs which aren't awkward hip hop, jock jams, Ricky Martin or Backstreet Boys.

It's not an immediate hit like their Beatles RD but I'm trying not to be (too) judgemental because I think it could look quite different by the time they're ready to compete - and when it isn't cell phone footage with Jordan Cowan in the way half the time. Plus at this stage I'll take most RDs which aren't awkward hip hop, jock jams, Ricky Martin or Backstreet Boys.

Probably my favorite RD so far this season, finally something that seems fun and pure 90s instead of all the RDs we got so far, which mostly leaned heavily on the campy side of the 90s.

Madi and Evan are dropping clues for their music. I'm guessing the RD is "American Beauty." I have no idea about the free dance. Maybe something to do with bull fighting. I know from what they posted earlier this summer that they are doing something related to contemporary Latin dance.

ETA: I hope it's not Carmen. That doesn't seem like something they would do.

The FD is contemporary flamenco choreographed by Antonio Najarro.

That makes more sense than the American Beauty soundtrack. And the Lenny Kravitz cover of "American Woman" was released in the 1990s.
