My dad is a second or third cousin to John Wayne Bobbit and went to church with his uncle.Peacock has a series streaming called "I Cut Off His Penis". It starts with the most famous US case (Lorena Bobbit) but goes on to discuss an increasing number of cases worldwide. In the trailer one woman said that everyone wants to talk about what she did to him but not what he did to her. Part of me wants to watch this but I have a feeling it will be one case after another about men abusing women and getting away with it until the women committed an extreme act of self-defense.
I need to think about how much depressing things I want to watch right now.
The parole hearing for the Menendez brothers begins today in California.

Here’s the live update feed from NBC LA.
Erik’s parole hearing is today and Lyle’s hearing is tomorrow.
I have no idea if they will actually be paroled.
It’s official: Erik has been denied parole.
Erik has committed these rule violations while in prison.
I’m guessing that Lyle is likely to lose today as well.

I’m thinking she’s likely Guilty as Hell and am amazed the defense hasn’t tried for a plea deal.
For those of you who may have also been following the case of the abduction for seven month old baby Emmanuel Haro, here’s a breaking news update.
I’ve been having a bad gut feeling about this.![]()

Lunch time!
Well, daughter Wendi is now on the stand. She’s been looking terrified so far.
IMHO - this defense team sucks.
In a release on Wednesday, police say six men entered the store at 4:35 p.m. and loaded up "a large quantity of bottled alcohol into bags and knapsacks they had brought with them."
About a minute later the suspects fled the store and were seen leaving the area in a dark-coloured SUV.
Most of the bags were filled with scotch at a value of approximately $8,000, Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) spokesperson Cherri Greeno told CBC News
Update on Florida v. Donna Adelson. The prosecution rests. I think they’ve done enough. Especially with the, “The bump worked.”, on the wiretap. And with Donna apparently literally washing the money used for the murder.![]()
Now, what will the defense do? Will Donna actually take the stand?![]()
