Well, US, Japanese and European ladies from respectively Olympic and European Championships decades ago were discussed, so why can't the junior US men join the OT party too? ????

I do not remember which Instagram account posted it, but they were congratulating all of the junior skaters that were moving up to seniors this season and the post included Josephine Lee. Josephine re-posted it which indicates, clearly, that she intends to move up to the senior ranks. Another skater who is eligible to transition into seniors is Mia Kalin but she has not competed yet during the summer competitions. It'll be interesting to see who manages to nab the SKAM host spot.

So far, a few frontrunners based on past performances and recent summer competitions:
1. Starr Andrews
2. Sonja Hilmer
3. Josephine Lee

Ava is also recovering from surgery so I hope she manages to be healthy and strong before SKAM rolls around so she can fight for a spot.

Ting has had it rough with that recurring ankle injury. Wishing her a speedy (and complete) recovery.

^Ting Cui was someone prior to the pandemic that I was keeping an eye on. She was someone that mixed up with the Russian Juniors so I always thought she had the potential to knock down some doors.

Yes, Jurka is a junior.

Are you asking how many are attempting a 3A or have stated they plan to include it in their jump arsenals this season? If so, then, yes I think six is probably correct - Amber, Alysa, Alexa, Sophie Joline, Emilia and now Jessi.

I haven't received the mag yet but given that Alysa hasn't cleanly landed a 3A since early 2020, we'll need to wait and see what she actually does.

I can confirm that is what the article says. Whether they will become consistent enough to add to a competitive program remains to be seen.

I’m not surprised that Alysa gave herself a challenge for the next season. She is definitely a jock!

And I won’t be surprised if she manages to pull off three clean 3As by the Olympics after her extraordinary season she just had.
