I do not remember which Instagram account posted it, but they were congratulating all of the junior skaters that were moving up to seniors this season and the post included Josephine Lee. Josephine re-posted it which indicates, clearly, that she intends to move up to the senior ranks. Another skater who is eligible to transition into seniors is Mia Kalin but she has not competed yet during the summer competitions. It'll be interesting to see who manages to nab the SKAM host spot.

So far, a few frontrunners based on past performances and recent summer competitions:
1. Starr Andrews
2. Sonja Hilmer
3. Josephine Lee

Ava is also recovering from surgery so I hope she manages to be healthy and strong before SKAM rolls around so she can fight for a spot.

Speaking of surgery, Ting Cui posted about hers.

Ting has had it rough with that recurring ankle injury. Wishing her a speedy (and complete) recovery.

Amber had a link on her Insta of Jessi and her triple axels she can do

Is she competing juniors? Then this makes how many US ladies with a triple Axel right now if we include Alysa? Six?

Yes, Jurka is a junior.

Are you asking how many are attempting a 3A or have stated they plan to include it in their jump arsenals this season? If so, then, yes I think six is probably correct - Amber, Alysa, Alexa, Sophie Joline, Emilia and now Jessi.

I’m not surprised that Alysa gave herself a challenge for the next season. She is definitely a jock!

And I won’t be surprised if she manages to pull off three clean 3As by the Olympics after her extraordinary season she just had.

Well, this is interesting... the Women’s grid has been updated as of today & has Starr Andrews & Josephine Lee assigned to SkAm.

Well, nothing like signaling to the rest of the US women that there's no point in showing up at Cranberry by updating the GP assignments grid a month before Champs Camp.

Guess this means Ava Marie's recovery is going slower than fans were hoping.

For those wondering about Ava, she recently posted several videos on TikTok about her skating. On one of her videos, she captioned it, "New program core." This probably means she just recently got back on the ice. I hope she takes her recovery as deliberately and cautiously as possible. She could be a huge threat (she already was) in the next quad and I am excited to watch her grow.

As for Josephine and Starr receiving the host spots for Skate America, I was not at all shocked. They are the next best performing skaters for the US women. Josephine suffers from inconsistency but she has the raw talent and drive to become a superstar—her artistry draws you in unlike any other. I think that if she can consistently score in the 180-190s for her senior season debut, she has a great base to build on for the next quad.

With the recent news of Jia Shin of South Korea debuting at Cranberry, I am excited to see who of the six top contenders from the US will compete there as well. Last season, we had Isabeau, Sarah, Elyce, and Starr among a myriad of other American women. It's possible that Josephine will be competing as well.

I hadn't heard -- thanks so much for letting us know! She posts on Instagram so little, and that's where I pick up a lot of the skating news.

In this Russian article, Benoit Richaud said that next season will be the last season for Bradie Tennell, too. 😳

AI Translation:
- How does it feel to know that you're giving a skater the last program of her career?

- It's a very strange feeling. I admit that I cried a few times. This was the first time that was happening to me. This season is very emotional for me: two skaters, with whom we started their ways in adult competitions, are ending their careers at once. Kaori Sakamoto and Bradie Tennell. It's like we've completed a life cycle together.

Hardly suprising, but sad nonetheless, I hope it's a season to remember for Bradie and maybe, just maybe, she might sneak in there for one of the Olympic spots...

Massive speculation running all over X (and I presume reddit) that Amber is re-using her FS from last season. Gabby Daleman posted a clip of a 3z+3t combo at WASA & folks correctly identified Amber's FS music in the background.

Paging @AngieNikodinovLove (ANL) so he's adequately prepared if the spec turns out to be true whenever Ms. Glenn announces her music for this season.

Amber hinted at this in her interview with TWIS. I was disappointed because I didn’t think the music had enough oomph for an Olympic program.
