F/G are going to most likely be 6th overall in the FD, and I think that's actually pretty fair. They're getting a medal based on the fact that LaLa and F/G have objectively more terrible RDs. I think the judges are sending a clear message for Milan: don't do weird stuff. Don't do boring stuff. Don't suck in the RD. I think if you look at it from the perspective, the judging has been pretty consistent.

Love G/P and I looove they don't have a bizarre backstory and I love this program, minus the costumes.

I do like this jazzy program, but I think they'd be wise to go back to character-driven programs for the Olympic year. It's their wheelhouse, and after taking a break from it for a bit, it shouldn't feel stale.

This season's have the feel of mildly entertaining space holders for sure. It's smart if that's the plan and they come into next year with something memorable and very different from the jazzy stuff.
