It’s so weird that a skater with a triple axel not just a triple axel triple axle triple toe I mean where do we see this even? Like barely from anybody. And even with a negative GOE can barely crack the top 10 for a short program.

I'd feel badly for her but either she or someone on her team were griping at the Estonian fed late last fall when they made the decision that the skaters who weren't senior-age eligible couldn't compete in the senior category at their Nationals - trying to imply that the Estonian fed was trying to protect the senior-eligible skaters from being beaten. Like, for real, the fed can set whatever rules they want regarding eligibility for their domestic comps.

ETA - generous judging and PCS boost to get her into the FS.

Shimada is so well-trained, it's incredible to watch how every single move is done exactly the way it was (assumably) planned and everything looks so easy. The spins.

Yes, I saw your post in the pinned Coaching Changes thread the other day. I assume that was an error since Mishin is not listed as a former coach in her bio (then again, neither is Rozanov).
