Tonia starting to sound like Meagan Duhamel as the event goes on. I don’t know how. She barely is talking to strain her voice.

I'll be here for the first few skaters of this group then will head home for the rest of the work day and be back at some point during the 2nd group or perhaps in time for the last half.

Do we know who is going to the Olympics for Lithuania? Variakojyte is the one who earned the spot in Boston and it seemed like she was skating better than their other women this fall but here we have Aglinskyte at Euros falling on 3 jumps through the first half of the program...

ETA and a 4th fall on in the 2nd half and another on the closing spin. :yikes:

Jogaile
happy that she made it - enjoyed her SP
3z little df
she has a nice smooth way of skating
3loop << fall
3f same story
3z a bit better rotation but still short and another fall - audience trying to cheer her up
2a euler 2sal
she is very quick with her feet, very tidy in the steps
3sal again << fall
2flip
not sure if that was intentional or if she lost all confidence

rough skate from her but one can see her talent!
oh no - and a fall out of the last spin, that will be the mistake that hurts the most , I think

I remember when Kaetlyn Osmond had the most nightmare skate and then managed to bounce back on her eventual journey to becoming an Olympic medalist and World Champion, so I hope Jogaile can find a way to rebound at her next competition and know that some great skaters had have terrible days on competition ice too.

Brilliant performance - moving, and engaging, and the crowd went with her.

My husband wants to know, if Josefin can skate that great, why is she in the first group? I didn't see her SP so I assume she fell on a jump or something?
