2025 ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Boston

If she is talking about single-session tickets, I am not optimistic that SCOB would be able to help, because SCOB itself never was directly selling single-session tickets (except for gala tickets as an add-on to all-event passes).
She has given up on getting seats in the handicapped section and just wants to know where she can sit without climbing stairs. She can buy the tickets herself.

There are handicap-accessible seats noted on the Ticketmaster map, and you can filter them to such. Did she see that?

Yes. And she had Ticketmaster working on that as well. Basically, she was told that she could sit in the wheelchair section if she needed a wheelchair, but I couldn't sit with her. She doesn't need a wheelchair and she doesn't want to sit alone.
Yes, try to get help there.
She called and talked to a very nice person, who referred her to someone else. The someone else was in a meeting, so my friend was advised to leave a voicemail or an email. She tried to leave a voicemail, but the voicemail box was full, so she sent an email and crossed her fingers.

It's amazing to me that there isn't a website showing how many stairsteps there are to each seat for major arenas. So many people aren't wheelchair bound but have other mobility issues.

Two steps per row is pretty standard (at least here in the US).

I'm going out on a limb and just going to assume (as I don't recall from last Worlds or Nationals in Boston) than banners are verboten?

So how are we supposed to know if your tickets were sold to someone else in the general sale?

In case helpful to anyone departing from Logan after Worlds:

"Take Back Bay Logan Express or water transportation to the airport and avoid the line at security when you arrive. Ask your driver for a "Ticket to Skip" and use it to skip to the front of the security line after checking in at your terminal."

Logan Express is cashless; bus ticket to airport costs $3.
(The Ticket to Skip the TSA line is what caught my eye, but another FYI: "Traveling from the airport to Back Bay is free!")

Inspired by posts in the US Nationals thread:

TD Garden Event Rate Parking. $60-$65 is for underground parking right at North Station.

A much more reasonable option is the Government Center Garage. $27 for parking if reserved online through SpotHero. 0.3 mile walk to TD Garden. This is my parking place of choice when I head to events at TD Garden.
for evenings/weekends Post Office Square is $9 for parking and a short walk. Tons of spots and is my go to when I don't take the T in.

For those staying at the Lenox, I received a phishing email informing me I had 12 hours to confirm my reservation or it would be canceled. Of course it asked for all my info including credit card number. I actually started laughing when I got it. I did notify the hotel and they said their IT team was on it.

For Boston area skating parents with kids between the ages of 6-14 as of March 1, 2025.… registration is now open for the sweeper tryouts that will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, between 11:00AM – 4:00PM at SCoB in Norwood, MA:
3.5-minute video report on last month's sweeper tryouts at SCoB via NBC10's "The Hub Today" show (head judge Mirai Nagasu was interviewed :)):

This Dec 8th article says the 40 selected sweepers were supposed to be announced (notified, I assume) on Dec. 16, 2024: https://whdh.com/news/young-skaters...world-figure-skating-championships-in-boston/

I have a friend who lives in Boston, who is trying to buy tickets for men’s long and was asking me which side the judges are on. I think they’re in sections one and two, but I couldn’t find a map. Anyone recall?

But in a good for Boston move when she looked at the seat map she said the only thing available from Ticketmaster directly are the very back row of the 300 sections. I have a club seat and she can’t even find a seat in my section and the cheapest club seat is around $400 and she’s not seeing anything in the lower bowl. now she’s going to check other resale sites so there could be some better deals, but men seems to be selling very well

Sections 1 & 2 should be correct (I'm just hedging because it looks like they removed the map they had where it was marked, but I got tickets on the judges side which would make them 1&2 lol)

Hi all, This will be my second Worlds (I was in DC in 2003), and this time I'd like to bring different country flags. I'd appreciate guidance on sizes and vendors to buy from. I'll be going with a friend, so we have two seats across to raise the flags.

Thanks in advance.

And I haven’t seen you since Worlds in DC! Looking forward.

This site offer a decent amount of 2x3 flags at a low rate. Not all ISU countries have that size available on this site though. (Not sure what countries you're looking for). Once you get into bigger flags (4x6 is usually size the medalists get to drape behind them during pics) the prices really start going up, up, up.
