Am I correct in thinking that is only Torgashev's 2nd Grand Prix ever (senior level)? And he doesn't have any more this season.

Correct and yes.

ETA:
I'm sorry, but I think Camden needs to withdraw from his 2nd grand prix. He is not close to ready, and there are others who need the opportunity.
It’s his decision - he earned 2 GPs based on the current rules.

ETA #2 - Camden posted on his Instagram and wrote that he is “looking forward to Finland next.”

This was the worse men’s event in years. That was super hard to get through, I’m glad I didn’t watch this live. Most of the skaters looked completely unprepared or if this was the second time they skated it.

I haven’t watched yet, but was shocked by the Results and Judges Scores. GP final seems to be a bit of a crapshoot.

Nikolaj Memola and Andrew Torgashev were the highlights of an otherwise very dire men's free skate and event all around.

Yeah, while it seems unfair that Torgashev doesn't have another GP assignment while Camden has two this season, that's how it rolls in senior GP, unlike JGP where the USFS can both giveth and taketh away within a few days. Hope Torgashev can get another Challenger to keep him in competitive mindset and work toward Nationals. Best of luck to Camden in his 2nd GP.

My guess is that Torgashev will be assigned to Golden Spin. No idea whether Camden or Tomoki are going to be assigned to another Challenger - USFS assignments for the men have been a bit weird this fall.

tbh I don't think they should either like they played by the rules and earned those spots. it's up to other people to get them next season if they want.
Plus people do progress and get better as the season progresses. Maybe he'll do better at GPFinland and show up at Nationals fully trained. 🤷‍♀️

Also, there’s no way to know that any other skater would do better. Some skaters will be younger. But most of the men’s discipline is prone to melt downs at this point.
