Can they beat the Lithuanians is the burning question.finally green/parsons are returning home from the war
That's the matchup of this competition. Could tell us a lot about the trajectories of both teams for this season. Can they beat the Lithuanians is the burning question.
This will be the junior international debuts outside the USA for all but R/L who competed at JGP Ostrava. The junior Trophee Metropole Nice assignments are up on the USFS website:
Ladies: Alayna Coats, Jessica Jurka, Teryn Kim
Men: Nicholas Brooks, Lorenzo Elano, Vaclav Vasquez
Dance: Stapert/Korotcov, Renzi/Lissauer
Not through CS Ten and CS Budapest…and CS Nice after that, as you say. The others are at the time of SrGP events.I’ve searched all the way through Nice and I don’t know if this has been discussed but it’s safe to assume that Madison and Evan and Piper and Paul are not doing challengers this season?
Can they beat the Lithuanians is the burning question.

Well, BecGuar are competing the week before at Shanghai Trophy, so I sort of expected them to WD since their first GP is SCI (2 weeks after Budapest); and ChtWoz are entered at Diamond Spin Sr B (week after Budapest); so it may very well be a situation where GamKor were the only team left and the event was cancelled.Budapest Trophy senior pairs no longer appears on the list?

I'm not seeing an updated competitor list since the last one @Karen-W linked (dated Sept 25) - pairs is not part of the Challenger event, so it's in the other area of the listing (I'm still hoping to see a schedule for the event posted - what was in the announcement is incredibly vague, and it's a lot of skating to fit into 3 days in one rink with the junior/non-Challenger events - there are 2 rinks, but one says for practices)Budapest Trophy senior pairs no longer appears on the list?

The entry list PDF says "as of 9/25" but it was updated again on 9/27. When I initially provided the link there were 3 Sr Pairs teams listed - they are, as @farahfan correctly noted, no longer listed. It could be an oversight or it could be an indication the Sr Pairs event was canceled.I'm not seeing an updated competitor list since the last one @Karen-W linked (dated Sept 25) - pairs is not part of the Challenger event, so it's in the other area of the listing (I'm still hoping to see a schedule for the event posted - what was in the announcement is incredibly vague, and it's a lot of skating to fit into 3 days in one rink with the junior/non-Challenger events - there are 2 rinks, but one says for practices)
I haven't seen one yet - this is the preliminary schedule for the comp. that's at the end of the Announcement:Is there a schedule for the Denis Ten Memorial yet?
That would be a pretty weird oversight.Someone on tumblr pointed out that lala aren't listed under Budapest Trophy or talked about in this Skate Canada post. Hopefully just an oversight?
I agree but also I want to see them skate lolThat would be a pretty weird oversight.
Yes and I especially don't want them to be withdrawing due to any injury/health issues.I agree but also I want to see them skate lol
GamKor just said they are competing at Nice. Looking forward to that entry list! The entry list PDF says "as of 9/25" but it was updated again on 9/27. Given that it's not even 7am in Central Europe yet, we may not know for several hours or possibly even Tuesday/Wednesday, if this is an error or if the pairs teams listed are going to be competing elsewhere that week (Tayside Trophy is the same weekend) or the following week (Diamond Spin & Trophee Metropole Nice are both scheduled to include Sr Pairs).
Tayside currently has 8 teams listed and there may be a waiting list to add another team if the organizers don't want to add another warmup group. Diamond Spin has 5 teams and could easily add another team like GamKor without affecting the number of warmup groups. And we have yet to see the non-CS Metropole Nice entries

Yes, there is a non-Challenger pairs event at Nice. Hase/Volodin and Gamez/Korovin confirmed their attendance, I don't know who else as the non-Challenger list is not out. Sorry for the confusion.A couple of Qs here:
Are there two Metropole Nice events - a CS edition snd a non-CS version?
The CS edition’s entries list is here: https://results.isu.org/events/fsevent00120594.htm
Who are “GamKor”? I need an FSU CouplesAcronym List.
Thanks, in advance.
I figured out what is Diamond Spin by Googling.
Thanks. Now I know that Gamez/Korovin of The Philippines are “GamKor”!Yes, there is a non-Challenger pairs event at Nice. Hase/Volodin and Gamez/Korovin confirmed their attendance, I don't know who else as the non-Challenger list is not out. Sorry for the confusion.
