I don't think they're unhappy about the delay in 245 but that the Tech Cmte is now saying they'd be open to the Congress delaying implementation of the entire package until 2026-27. They're questioning what authority the Tech Cmte has to do this.

I'm not sure that more people wouldn't have objected to the entire package yesterday had Benoit, Michael Geistlinger (legal) and Fabio not seemed hellbent on shutting down any dissention.

It seems like the Technical Committee saw that their proposed changes were going to fail, and now they are willing to delay the changes until after the Olympics, and because they've done this last minute they may have violated their own rules for the ISU Congress.

Well, as @On My Own said below, they've agreed to delay 245 but the rest of the package would be implemented immediately. And I have no idea what the sentiment of the Members are at this point because some of them are pretty peeved at not being able to go back and reconsider 239 & 240 - also possibly for delayed implementation? Benoit asked to take a 5 min break (it's been longer than that already, lol) - which I'm sure is an effort to settle things and get everyone on the same page before voting on the entire package.

IDK why small feds would be grumbling about 239/240 though. But then I'm not watching.
