They were living their best lives during that performance & I loved it. Particularly the creative element at the end - the skaters in that lift were hyping the crowd like a cheering leading competition.

I think it's unfortunate that he's only one in the pants because it could be a good effect to have half, or a quarter also dressed that way so that he doesn't stand out as much.

Yeah, I was thinking about this during their program and wondered if the women in synchro are still required to have skirts.

That is a lot of pink, and it doesn't show up great on my screen. I enjoyed the performance level, and they started well, but the formations got sloppy as they got into the intersections, and no hold element later in the program.

One of the disadvantages of having the one male skater in black pants when every one else is wearing light coloured skirts is that when he stumbles, like he did in the no hold element, it's really easy to see. I like some of the formations, and intersections with some positions we haven't seen so far today.

That was really good performance. I really enjoyed that program, and the choreography used the music well, and of course the quality Japanese skating skills accentuated the elements. Eight side-by-side single Axels putting the pairs skaters around the world to shame.

I thought they used the variations on the death spiral pair element very well in the opening creative element, and then came back to a similar movement in the middle of the program, and then the finishing position back to the centre. Spiral movements to the beat of the music also a nice touch.
