USA, Canada, Japan, Korea and other counties from Europe who want to form should form a new union with new rules.

The corruption is so deep rooted it will never change..no transparency either and I don’t think ever will be

The trouble with that is that the corrupt ISU is very closely involved with the corrupt IOC, and as long as the IOC wants the ISU as the intl and Olympic federation for the sport, the ISU isn't going anywhere. Skating is a big advertiser draw for the Winter Games and the IOC isn't going to mess with that.

At this point, what I want is for the ISU to keep Russia out of competition next season too, including Worlds. They havr demonstrated they don't need to have an opportunity to qualify for the Team Event in 2026 and their presence would only sully the competition. It’s not the most reasonable reaction but I agree. Yes, Pairs suffers in their absence but I don’t miss them anywhere else, particularly not in dance which has an embarrassment of riches. They’re still conducting a war of aggression, they’ve been found collectively guilty of doping again since no one thinks a 15-year-old dreamed this up by herself, and their attitude and language today are just disgusting.

Setting aside the math, there is no conceptual justification for not updating the points. If Kamila is disqualified, she didn’t win the segment. Everyone is, per the rules, supposed to move up.

Right now, the ISU says that winning the women’s segment gets you 9 points but winning men’s, pairs or dance gets you 10.

Skate Canada cited rule 353 that says "competitors having finished the competition and who initially placed lower than the disqualified competitor will move up accordingly in their placement."

Edit: As people have pointed out below, even though this is in the part of the rules that apply to non-team competitions, the team event rules say that Rule 353 applies to the team competition.

I don't know where the bylaws are, but I'm assuming there's a separate rules that states a skaters that earns a specific placement gets a certain number of points, i.e. a skaters that gets first place, gets 10 points. No?
