You literally came into a thread where people were fretting over Olympic spots - quite a legitimate thing for people to be fretting over considering for those outside the big countries this can be a major event in terms of funding, publicity and other opportunities - to tell people not to fret about Olympic spots. The thread is literally all about Olympic spots. Piss off yourself!
No, I came into a thread where people were criticizing Jackie Wong at length for causing confusion about Olympic spots and not apologizing for the confusion he caused. I personally found the criticism a little over the top. I didn’t tell anyone not to fret about Olympic spots.
We are talking about the hopes and dreams of athletes over which he’s literally unapologetic about causing confusion, but sure, keep on thinking that someone’s ego is more important than the hopes and dreams of hard working athletes.
The only way Jackie could have destroyed “the hopes and dreams” of any athlete would be if he had literally taken a spot away from them - but last I looked he doesn’t have that power, and I’m not sure where you get that his actions are ego driven. If you don’t like how he handled this situation that’s certainly your right. I simply have a different opinion.
