@Jeschke: why do you think, that Hocke/Kunkel didnt reached the world TES? According the threat for this in this Forum the TES are 44 and they reached 45,95. So I think they have the set for Worlds. Or am I wrong? Did the Points change?
I am confused; on screen in the stream they did show 42,70pts as TES; that's what I referred to.
But yeah, you are right.
They have the TES according to the protocols 👍
(achieving that with such a skate says a lot, but that is a different topic :D)

Yes the points shown now are not the same as earlier.

GP 🇷🇺

Bronze for Hase/Seegert (186,16pts). Awesome reaction by her in knc. I am happy they somehow held it together. Good for them they are SP-skaters, which brings them mostly in a good position (and therefore bonus PCS) for the FS lately. Well, this program still does nothing for me, and that it wins a GP medal is kinda funny, but well. I am happy for them. Great that hard work did pay off. I feel a bit for Österreich who was not with them in that moment. Great for german fed too, well done folks! 💪

Good outing by Schott with 9th place (172,08pts). Unfortunately she missed WR points by one place. She seems pretty secure (again) this season and everyone knows here I love her, but it was pretty obvious here she has to rely on mistakes on others. Her content is just not there. We saw 3f3t in practice after a messy 3f landing, why not in the FS? The first flip had so much flow and speed outta it. This is playing too safe; time to play. Same with the spins; to me, the positions look the same since years. Maybe I am wrong. Still, I know she has a history with injury I just wished we would see more the #splatordie attitude going all in.

CS 🇵🇱

Not the german's day.

Fentz 12th, 177,86pts.
Not managing to secure WR points in that field says a lot. He could be lucky he somehow has a name already, then this PCS were more than generous for what he actually has shown :shuffle:

Dimitrescu, 17th, 168,59pts
A shame. This started so well and then somehow fell apart. 3-3 and consistency is missing. The actual skating I like a lot, same with the program, but it loses it's impact with the mistakes.

Hess 18th, 167,27pts
I like that FS for him; he is so hit and miss and totally fell apart in the end, but he is young, I am not willing to give up hope. With more consistency things could work out for him.

Hase/Seegert took their change to medal! Great achievement to be on the Podium next to T/M and B/K. This has been the first German GP medal without Aljona since 2004 (Stefan Lindemann Cup of China).

Of course the SP is much better than the FS. There are some weird moments when they stand still and wait for the music to go on. These things could easily be fixed.

Fifteen years since the last medal for a German(s) born within Germany (non-Aliona, in other words)!!!
Is it not really surprising, that just someone from the USA attaches importance to such a statement? There are numerous US medal winners, Nobel Prize winners etc. who were not born in the USA, for example those from Germany.
I am convinced, that if the daughter of Aljona, who was born in Germany, gets German medals in another fifteen years, it will be pointed out, that her parents come from the Ukraine and England. Latent racism manifests itself through finely graded points of view and this will never stop, apparently.

---

Minni and Nolan, I am very happy that you have returned to your usual form - congratulations! (even though I'm cheating on you with the young Russian pair, sorry). If happiness is often the misfortune of others, it always provides a balance of justness.

As far as the GP is concerned, a short orientation, where you both (from the judge's point of view) stand now, should be understood as an inspiration:

To cheer for one’s national (multi-generational) blood heritage in no way demeans people who acquire citizenship through naturalization.

Well, from my side it would have needed no explanation in this regard. Certainly not in response to my comment. Therefore: Would you please spare me with your racial notions? Thank you.

Of course, with a medal german fed brings an article.

It would be really nice german fed, if you just report of all (major) events and not only of those with positive results

Good news, Asaf Kazimov is back.
He is entered for Golden Spin (junior competition) with Viktoriia Lopusova.

I have no clue who she is (besides RUS girl), but I am happy he is back; I always enjoyed his skating.

Updates from Andorra:

Salatzki came in 3rd in junior ladies (118,73pts) and has the set of tehc minimums for JW now.

Bad day for Sinicyn skaters.
Falls for Luft/Schuster and Urban/Steffan.

Luft/Schuster as it seems not in an element, but with 48,58pts not a good score. 5th place in juniors after RD.

Urban/Steffan fell in the pattern and were butchered tremendiusly in PCS too. 52,16pts, 8th place.
They were beaten even by Peterson/Pfisterer, 54,34pts, 5th.
Müller/Dieck are in the lead with 67,38pts. Well, the many-competitions-route seem to work out for them.

Bock sitting in 4th place, and finally got the TES SP for euros. (46,49pts)

Stoll is 2nd with medicore 62,23pts.

CS Golden Spin (04. - 07. December): Nathalie Weinzierl will now (unsurprisingly) not compete. Two long periods of sickness and their setbacks were apparently too much, so it seems that a long career on the ice is coming to an end. Now only Lea Johanna Dastich's leaving is missing to complete the misfortune of coach Anett Poetzsch.

Kristina Isaev, previously nominated as a replacement, has moved up, but when I look at the mine of coach Peter Sczypa (who also trained Nathalie before she left him), it remains a substitute (for Kristina, however, the conditions are much more difficult than several years ago for Nathalie at the same age ...)

This Sunday afternoon, 4:45–5:15 p.m. there'll be an episode of "Kreutzer trifft..." with Norbert Schramm. It's already available online:

Schramm is better looking than ever. I haven't watched it, yet. Just shifted through it. Looks interesting, the host is a bit annoying, but which host isn't.

It's basically an interview (outdoor, horses, coaches, snowy landscape, around Oberstdorf) with clips from Schramm's performances. Description of the show (auto tranaslated, edited):
At the beginning of the 1980s the native of Nuremberg was very successful on the ice, his pirouettes and step combinations are unforgettable. In the Breitachklamm, the 59-year-old Allgäuer looks back on this successful time as an amateur and later as a professional. Then Kreuzer experiences a very thoughtful Norbert Schramm on the Nebelhorn. The divorce from his wife and two severe facial nerve paralyses were the low points in his life. Thereupon his priorities shifted. Norbert Schramm went on pilgrimage three times and had experiences there that changed his life forever ...
